    Like a fairytale, chpt 17

Once upon a time on: Like a Fairytale

September raised a hand to prevent her niece to finish that sentence and she spoke sternly to her:

There is a fair chance getting these two girls together won’t work Shane… And  my  wrong judgement may be not only the death of me but also of Tina, although she has slightly more time than I have…

I hope with all my heart that the princesses mother will see how stubborn she is but I just don’t know…

Take this journey and know, that you will need all the strength, wittyness, power, intelligence and love the four of you have in you and more… Do not forget that a plan always fires back at you… Just act on what happens… All these girls have something special, Shane… I think you realize that allready but life experience told me that difficulties can evoke just those qualities in people that you need… We will see… Just follow your instinct, Shane, and along with the mirror, it will guide your way… Use your strenght wisely and be carefull…

The image of her aunt started to fade slighly and the boyish girl knew the time had come to say goodbye…

    I will aunt September… I will…

She put the mirror back on the shelf and got out off bed, walking to the closet, knowing she would find all the things she could possibly need… The fading of her aunt had been due to loss of strenght, and as Shane looked at the small tent and baskets filled with food and money she knew what September had used that strenght for…

A year and a half might seem like a long time to get somewhere, but knowing they had to cross a country, and hearing her aunt’s words about dificulties resounding in her head, Shane decided that they would leave as soon as possible…

At once the mirror lit up slightly and she could swear she heard a whisper:

    Follow your instinct…

    They would leave tomorrow…

    Chapter 17:

Tina was staring out of the window, a soft breeze was playing with her magnificently beautifull blonde lacks and she shivered as she soft breeze turned into a cold and stronger blow…

    1. I so feel for Tina. All alone with the hurt and pain of loosing the one person that she loved more than her own life. I am hoping that one day Mary-Ann will pull her head out of the sand and at least in her heart remember what it feels like to be in love. Maybe with the ice melting away from her heart she will be the catalyst to bring Bette and Tina together. It is nice to see friends (Shane, Alice, and Dana) work towards a common goal. That is the only way that Bette will be able to meet up with her true love (Tina). Great as always, thanks for making my day.

    2. Felt I had been with the Story Book Lady. Never out grow your need for a good book. I believe in Fan Fiction we are living a Fairy Tale every day. Hope that the four girls gets far on their journey. to Tina and Bettes family.even tho part of her family is with her to help her find her true love. Thanks for inviting us again into your Fairy Tale Land.

    4. I have the same problem as well..3rd attempt! Great Chappy, ‘the four muskerteers’ are on their way to rescue our beautiful princess Tina, hold on T! Bring on the journey…Love it, please continue! :)

    5. I think the plan once they get there is to have Shane pretend to be a boy to get close to Tina, then sneak her out to B&T special place in the woods.

    6. I tried to comment like four times, I hope this one goes through. Excellent chapter! Let the journey begin! I feel so bad for Tina. I hope Bette and the gang get there soon. (I know, year and a half, here’s to hoping they run there, haha.) Your fairytale is the best one I’ve ever read! Please continue!

    7. This is awsome and now they on their way to the journey to save and make everything right and now let everyone die. So sad about Tina and no one will understood about Tina feeling all those years but only Bette and now Bette on the way back to Tina and will make all the hurt, pain, and alone that will go away and happy will come. Ok post soon please, thanks!

    8. I make you blush? lol Too bad you already have someone. Anyway, let’s get on with this journey to save the princess from Bowser…wait no that was Super Mario Bros. Or are they saving Kumiko from Chozen? Crap no that’s Karate Kid Part II! Ughhhhhhhhh let’s just get going! xD

    9. Always such a joy to follow your road through fairytales’ land, Miss ! And as always, I’ll pod my thoughts all along, like Little Thumb’s stones… ^_^ *** “She was indeed the compassionate kind of person who would act rather on feelings than on rationality…” : I cannot help to think it’s better to follow heart than mind (Sense and Sensibility, as wrote one of my favorite writers !), even if our feelings can be a trap sometimes – or delusions. — And, well, about your Mary-Anne, an other austenian title came in my mind : pride and prejudices ! (*wink & smile*) : she’s so incredibly confined in all her illiberal ways to consider things that even her daughter’s so obvious unhappiness isn’t enough to make her seriously think about her true mother’s duties – and the same problem, of course, about her so-called friendship with Bette’s mother. But this kind of people are so terribly blinkered… — “She never opened up fully anymore and was always aware of the people around her… She never allowed herself to feel unless she knew for certain she was alone…” : now you make me feel as if I just spoke to myself here and, well, that’s both disturbing and relieving… — As I already said to you, I like very much the way you depict the four friends’ bond in this charming fairytale of yours. “Each had her own memories and they grabbed each others hands” : nothing better and stronger to have at the beginning of such a hard journey they will follow… No doubt happy ending is pretty far yet, but how could we seriously regret it since it’s so delightful to savour your tale ? I’m more than ever ready to follow the brave little troop on their “yellow brick road” ! ^_^
