(Bette and Tina are sitting on the sofa holding each other in tears when Chloe and Carmen come in. Chloe and Carmen rush over)
Chloe: “What’s wrong?”
Tina: “It’s Jay” (still crying Carmen sits down next to Tine and pulls her into a hug)
Chloe: “What about Jay” (standing up with fear in her eyes. Bette stands up too)
Bette: “Sweetie Jays been sent to a psychiatric unit for a few weeks”
Chloe: “What? Why? Jays not a Psycho”
Bette: “Sweetie he took some pills in an attempt to harm himself” (starting to cry)
Chloe: “When” (looking at Bette with tears. Tina now stands up too)
Tina: “last Night”
Chloe: ” LAST NIGHT AND THIS IS ME JUST FINDING OUT!!!”
Tina: “Sweetheart we didn’t want to worry you”
Chloe: “Why did he try to do this?”
Bette: “In Spain Jay was abused by the owner of the skateboard shop”(Tears still running down her face)
(Carmen covers her mouth)
Chloe: “NO!!! Jay would have told me we talk and stuff he tells me everything”
Tina: “We only found out last night sweetie he never told anyone”
Chloe: “WHY DID YOU NOT COME AND GET ME LAST NIGHT HE’S MY BROTHER!!!!”(Crying uncontrollably)
(Tina goes to hug Chloe but she pushes her away)
Chloe: “No Just leave me alone” (Chloe runs out)
Carmen:” I’ll go catch her” (Turning to Run after Chloe)
(Tina and Bette break down again in each others arms)
Chapter 9
(Tina and Bette are pacing the floor frantic about Chloe When Carmen and Chloe return)
Tina: “Chloe” (rushing over to Chloe)
Chloe: “I don’t mean to be rude mum but I really can’t talk to you our mom just now” (walking up to her room)
(Tina looks at the floor)
Bette: “Carmen, did she say anything to you?”
Carmen: “Yeah, she feels betrayed and cut out”
Tina: ” She’s only 14 we were trying to protect her”
Carmen: “I know that, but she doesn’t, you both need to talk to her and explain”
Bette: “I intend to, thanks Carmen”
Carmen: “No problem. If you need me, call me”(leaving the house)
Tina: “What are we going to do Bette?”
Bette: “First thing I’m going to do is get my son, you stay with Chloe, I’ll be back soon” (Kissing Tina)

I hope they catch the asshole who hurt Jay and that Jay can start feeling better.
I’m not a physiatrist, but I think that this is the best move for Jay with the exception of they all should have slept in his room. I think that their love and support are the most important things that Jay need now. Great update TR :o)

I love this story . . . I don’t like the phyciatrist . . . Bette and Carmen should’ve put dat’ hand on’em . . . if you know what I mean ;-D I hope they get that asshole that hurt my boy, Jay and send’em off to da’ penatentury . . . Dat way, he can get SOMETHIN’ shoved down his asshole . . . LOL . . . Anyways, LYLAS . . . and C-YA-LATER :-)

They will catch that asshole, Bette will try to kill him if she sees him. They really need to be together as a family and fight this together and show Jay that he is loved completely. thanks
