Life with Mom and Tina Ch 70

    Jess smiled with Tina.

"I love you. Always have and always will. No matter how old you get I will still try and protect you from the bad things in the world." Tina said.

"I know. I have always know even from the first time we met that day at the beach." Jess said.

    "You remember that." Tina said.

"How could I forget you were so scared." Jess said.

    "I was not." Tina argued.

"Come on you can’t lie to me. Are you forgetting I know all your secrets. Well almost all of them." Jess said.

"I am not so sure that’s a good thing." Tina said.

"Don’t worry they are safe with me." Jess said.

There was a commotion on the porch. The boys busted in the door arguing about something. Bette and Shannon followed behind them carrying Shannon’s suitcase full of dirty clothes. Tina jumped up and gave Shannon a huge hug.

Jess didn’t move. She and Angelica looked like they were emerged in a deep mental conversation.

Shannon sat down on the couch next to them.

"So I am gone for 3 months and I don’t get even the slightest Hello." She said.

"Oh hey." Jess said. Shannon hugged them both.

"So catch me up how is everyone. How is Laurie?" Shannon said.

    "She’s fine." Jess said.

Bette and Tina where in the kitchen talking. Jess watched them. She knew they were talking about her. She looked at her sister whom she had missed dearly and smiled.

"So tell me how is the team shaping up this year. I hear you have two new players." Shannon said.

"Its fine. Karen and Melinda. They are freshman and act like it." Jess said.

    "Enough said." Shannon said.

Ian and Teddy were still fighting. Until there was a thud and then a scream. Teddy came into the kitchen crying, and holding his eye. Bette picked him up and consoled him. Tina went into the boys bedroom and returned with Ian.

Shannon had made her way into the kitchen to see what was going on.

Tina put Ian in the time out corner for hitting Teddy in the eye.

    1. Jess is struggling with growing up. Right now the person that she is connecting with is Angelica and sometimes with her mommy. Some how she needs to get herself back. I think that her injuries are playing a big part in this. Hope that she gets well or is better able to work with it.

    2. Maybe Jesse is very worried about her head injury. Mybe is a wee bit of jealousie. She should know that Both Tina and Bette love her dearly. She was the only one for a long, long time, now there are four more. thanks

    3. Jess is having a lot of problems now and I think that some of it may stem from sibling rivalry. In this chapter, Bette returned with Shannon and the boys just as Jess and Tina were talking and Tina got up to say hello to Shannon and did not go back and finish talking to Jess and I think that ticked Jess of real bad and then Tina fixed a plate for her and didn’t sit at the table with her. She feels she is being ignored and they don’t really care.

    4. Interesting Chapter, I think that Jess really needs to work with the psychologist. She is suffering badly with this sepration anciety, and it is understandable. Just think Bette is the only one left that has been there all of her life and while she loves Tina and the rest of her family, leaving home she feels that she is having to cut her only safety cord or net that she has always known.
