“Right here.” Bette reached over the boxes and pulled Jess out of them.

“How did you get in there?” Bette asked putting Jess down on the floor.

“I was playing on the table and when I looked up I the boxes were all around me.” Jess said. Tina walked in the door with a small box, and pushed the door shut with her foot.

“Finally, last one.” She set the box down, and put one arm around Alice and one arm around Bette.

“We better get started unpacking.” She said handing a box to Alice. Jess headed for her bedroom.

“Hold it! Where do you think you’re going?” Bette said picking Jess back up.

“I was just going to my room to play.” Jess said innocently.

“Not until you pick up all those Legos you left on the table.” Bette lifted Jess back over the boxes and sat her down on the table. Tina walked over, turned the radio, and began unpacking.

Later.

Alice sat down on the couch that had once been in Tina’s apartment.

“What are you guys going to do with all this living room furniture?” Alice said making herself comfortable.

“We are going to move the desk into the dining room and make one huge living room.” Tina threw a pillow at Alice. Bette sat down one of the new chairs.

“I am exhausted. The rest of the furniture moving is going to have to wait.” Tina sat down in Bette’s lap.

“Sounds good to me.” Tina said kissing Bette. Bette looked around the now almost clean room, and noticed the pile of Legos under the couch.

“Jess. Come here please.” Jess walked around the corner.

“huh.” Jess said.

“What?” Bette said shooting a stern look Jess’s way.

“Sorry, Ma’am?” Jess said leaning up against the couch Alice was sitting on.

“I believe you missed some Legos under the couch.” Bette said.

“Oh. Okay.” Jess picked them up and held them in her shirt, without arguing. Bette was very strict on stray Legos in the living room since she walked in the door and tripped. She didn’t mind Jess playing with them in the living room as long as she kept them off the floor. “I can’t reach some.”

“Its okay we will get them later.” Tina said.

“I better get out of here.”

“Won’t you stay for dinner?” Tina said.

“I can’t I promised Dana I would meet her at The Planet.”

“Really?” Bette said

“Don’t start with me we are just friends.”

“Okay” Bette said with disbelief. Alice started for the door.

“Thank you so much for helping us unpack.”

“Anytime guys I’ll see you all tomorrow at the planet for brunch right?”

“Absolutely.” Said Tina

“Bye Jess” Alice called to Jess.

“Bye.” Jess called back. Alice waved at Bette and Tina as she walked out the door.

Betted kissed Tina.

“I so glad you’re here.” Bette said. Tina kissed Bette passionately.

“Me too.” She went back to kissing Bette

“Can we order pizza?” Jess interrupted.
