“Okay lets eat.” Kit said. Everyone walked to the table and sat down. Kit had her chef fix one of Jesss favorites, Roast Beef with Carrots and potatoes, Green beans, macaroni and Cheese and Mashed potatoes and gravy.

“Kit it looks amazing” Bette said.

“Well I could think of what we should have and then I remembered the dinner we had the night that Tina adopted Jess. So I called Josie (Tinas Mom.) and got all the recipes. I thought that it would be a great to way to celebrate Jesss birthday and the 5^th anniversary of Tina adopting Jess.” Kit said.

“Wow has it really been 5 years time sure does fly.” Dana said.

“Well 5 years and two weeks and it seems like only yesterday when Jess first came into my life.” Tina said.

“Oh come on guys we arent going to do this are we?” Jess said.

“We most certainly are.” Kit said.

“We arent going to do what?” Helena asked.

“Its a tradition on everyones birthday we go around and everyone tells a story about the birthday girl while we eat. It doesnt matter what it the story is or when it took place.” Alice said.

“I dont think its a very good tradition.” Jess said.

“You only think that on your birthday, but when it comes to everyone else you are ready to tell the juiciest story you can remember.” Mimi said.

“Thats different” Jess said.

“No it isnt. Okay who is going first.” Jenny said. “I will.” Dana said.

“Okay.” Alice said.

“Well it was about 4 years ago, at one of the many dinner parties you guys had. It was the one with the performance artists that had painted their bodies and did different poses all night.(Every nodded and smiled they knew the one she was talking about) Jess had climbed out of the window and was throwing ice down on the little things that were floating in the pool. I was talking with Shane, and this annoying girl Kay about something and I kept seeing something splashing in the pool but I couldnt figure it out. Kay had on this poofy flower print dress and she just kept going on and on. Shane and I both tried several time to end the conversation but she just kept going. I couldnt see Jess from where I was because she was just on the window hiding. I dont know whether she missed on purpose or whether it was an accident but a piece of landed down the front of her dress and apparently it was starting to melt. Kay started screaming she was standing on the edge of the pool. When the ice went down her dress she jerked and fell in the pool. Shane and I looked at each other and just burst out laughing.” Dana told the story very animated. Shane was laughing hard in her chair.
