“I am going to bed Mom. I just wanted to finish the work I missed today.” Shannon said. Bette started to tear up again. “What?” She asked smiling because Bette was staring.

“Nothing I just happy thats all.” Bette said wiping the tears out of her eyes.

“Okay.” Shannon said. “So did you and Mama talk about me spending spring break with Megan at the beach.”

“Yeah. You can go.” Bette said. “Dont stay up to late okay.” Bette said.

“Okay I wont” Shannon said.

“Goodnight I love you.” Bette said.

“Love you too, Mom.” Shannon said. Bette walked out of the room and closed the door behind her.

She walked into her bedroom. Tina was sitting on the bed reading.

“Whats wrong Babe?” Tina asked. Bette sat down on the bed.

“She called me Mom.” Bette said letting the tears flow.

“I know it took everything I had not go as the girls say all emotional and freak out when she called me Mama.” Tina said holding Bette. “Have you had anymore thoughts on what we are going to do with the kids in two weeks?”

“No but something tells me they are going to want to stay by themselves that week.” Bette said.

“What makes you say that?” Tina asked.

“Because do remember how excited they got when we let them stay alone those two nights when we got stuck in Paris. A couple of months ago.” Bette said.

“Yeah but that was an emergency.” Tina said. “and they werent exactly alone Prue was here during the day, and Alice and Dana checked on them at night.”

“Yeah but still you know how they are.” Bette said.

“I do.” Tina said. “I called my parents and are going some cruise and wont be back for a month. How about Melvin?” Tina asked.

“Out of the country on business.” Bette said.

“How about Kate or Alyssa?” Tina asked.

“They are flying to London with Jess and not coming back until the end of April.” Bette said. “What about Chris and Ryan?”

“I called them they said that they would love to but they cant because Tucker has nursery school and Chris has to work and cant miss.” Tina said.

“Well that leaves Dana, Alice, Shane, Marina, and Jenny.” Bette said.

“Dana is out she has that tournament in phoenix that week. Jenny is still on her book tour and Marina has to run the Planet because Kit is gone.” Tina said.

“Okay what about Alice and Shane?” Bette said.

“They would be great for the boys but we both know that neither one of them can say no to the girls especially Jess.” Tina said.

“I know but there is no one else.” Bette said.

“I guess we will ask them tomorrow at Jesss game.” Tina said.

“Okay.” Bette said. Tina cut the light off and cuddled up next to Bette.
