    Bette and Tina think they figured out what is going on with Jess.

    “What are you doing?” Jess asked removing earphones from her ears.

    “Oh Jess you scared me. I am just putting in this new vent.” Tina said.

    “You know magnets work just as well as that is going to.” Jess said going up stairs. Tina looked at her. Jess returned in a couple of minutes with her swim suit on.

    “Hey Jess where have you been?” Alice asked.

    “Running.” Jess said before she dove into the pool.

    “Running? With who?” Lilly asked.

    “Nay Nay and Kel.” Jess said.

    “How far did you guys go today?” Lilly asked.

    “4.6 miles, but I think we could have gone further. Except Kel had to get home.” Jess said.

    “What do you mean today? How often have you been running?” Tina asked.

    “Jess, Kel, and Shannon run everyday. Sometimes the others join them but those 3 can out run the others so it isn’t very often” Lilly said.

    “Jess why didn’t you tell us?” Bette asked.

    “Do you guys have to know everything?” Jess said.

    “Yes we are your moms and it is are job to know everything.” Bette said playfully splashing water at Jess.

    “Whatever!” Jess said climbing on the float she dumped Alice off of.

    “So kiddo are you ready for Monday?” Lilly asked.

    “Yeah. Nay Nay is going to pick kel and me up. So we can go running before class.” Jess said.

    “When were you going to tell us this?” Tina said.

    “I forgot sorry.” Jess said.

    “but I always take you to school on the first day.” Bette said.

    “Yeah but this way you won’t be late for work like you usually are.” Jess said. Jess watched Alice swimming up under the water. Alice came up under Jess and dumped her off the float. Everyone laughed.

    “That’s not funny.” Jess said when she came to the surface.

    “Come on Jess you think its funny when you do it to me.” Alice said.

    “The face you make is what’s funny.” Jess said, mocking Alice.

    “Hah now that’s not funny.” Alice said pushing Jess into the water. Everyone laughed harder.

    “Come on guys.” Bette said trying to stop Alice and Jess before it turned into all out war. Bette pulled Jess to her. Jess held on to Bette’s back.

    4. Parental sex is never good to hear…(esp. when you’re trying to get it on yourself!) I can relate to Jess when it comes to feeling left out; Bette should have caught on to that sooner, but its good that Jess made it a point to go shopping solo w/ her mom.I’m intrigued to hear what young Bette did to get herself in trouble…

    5. Glad the problem wasn’t too serious.LOL. Bette and Tina need to make time separately with Jess…she’s feeling left out. Or she’s feeling like she has to ask to have separate time with them. B & T need to date their daughter..they need to spend time with only her in mind…separately. So that she knows that she still matters to both of them. She’s not telling them about the everyday things in her life and that’s the first sign that she’s feeling that they may not care. Thanks for the update.

    7. At least it wasn’t something more serious. I think that it is a good idea for Jess to her about some of Bette’s youthful antics. It never hurts to learn that you parents also made misstakes and were grounded.

    8. well they fixed the windows but sometimes Jess continue with the attitude and i think that this is cause she is a little jelous, they Bette and Tina need to expend a little time with her. i like this story
