Life with Mom and Tina Ch 114
Previously:
"You keep that up and…." Cat said.
"I hope so." Jess interrupted.
The sunrise lit the room up with warm orange light. Jess and Cat were asleep in the bed. They were snuggled together under the sheet. Cat held Jess in her arms.
Jess slid out of the bed pulling on shorts and a tank. She went into the bathroom and put her bathing suit. She went to the armoire in the room. She opened it up and pulled out some board shorts and a water shirt with Roxy across the front. She pulled on the shorts and walked over to the bed where Cat stirred. She bent over and kissed.
"I am going surfing." She whispered.
"K." Cat said sleepily.
"Love you." Jess said.
"U too." Cat answered.
Jess walked out of the room and down the stairs.
"Hey lil’ sis, you coming." Shannon said.
"Of course. You see the waves this morning?" Jess said as they walked out of the back door.
"Yeah they’re awesome." Shannon said.
"You have to work today?" Jess asked.
"Yeah I have to go in at 11" Shannon said.
"Oh okay." Jess said. They walked towards the beach with their boards under their arms.
"What’s up?" Shannon asked.
"Aunt Kit talked me into talking with a couple of reporters from the Advocate. They want to do a story on me and the family." Jess said.
"Are you going to do it?" Shannon asked.
"I don’t know. Cat and Al think I should. Cat thinks that I, that we might be able to help people if we do it." Jess said.
"Yeah probably." Shannon said.
"You think?" Jess asked.
"You know we were lucky. We grew up in a part of the country where there isn’t a whole lot of hatred and bigotry. I mean its there, but we weren’t surrounded by it all the time. We had our safe haven. There are places in the country in the world that aren’t like that. Maybe you can help open those peoples minds some. The country loves you. That’s evident from your fan e-mail. What is it up to a couple thousand now?" Shannon said.

Is it bad that I laughed at the fight? lol
Mom he broke my gameboy-sounds exactly like my brother lol. Hope you post again soon. =)
Jess is growing up quite a bit but, we all still need that special someone to talk to. Great chapter.
Hold up, wait a minute. Who was Teddy telling to “Let me go, he broke my Gameboy” ? Surly not Bette or Tina for that much. I think he had better “Check his self, before he wreck hisself.” I did laugh at the fight though. I am going to love the day that they are fighting and an outsider(maybe at school or on the playground) tries to jump in and they both turn on them. LOL, now that would be funny and I have seen it many a time with my brothers. It’s GREAT to see Jess and Shannon sharing some time together, sister to sister :o)
After raising 4 boys that did fight, but no one else dare to jump on one of them then they had the whole gang to fight. Theydidnt fight much They knew that they had to hug and kiss each other if they did. they hated that Jesse is growing up so fast, yet she still needs someone to talk to. thanks
I laughed at the fight too…it was a nervous laugh because I thought Jess would be fighting with Cat or Shannon…glad that was not the case. Please post soon.
Good chapter. Funny boys always fight never talk but girls they talk and have a good time like Jess and Shannon, let see how Bette gonna do with this boys, they are in so much trouble. Ok post soon please, thanks!
Great chapter, loved the interaction between Jess & Shannon, Jess can still use a little guidance. Get the feeling that there is goin’ to happen something at the party, am I right?. Thanks for posting really soon.
the figth was cute and just started it, i won’t like to see Bette not even Tina mad at the boys, they will be put in the corner! I like it so much that Jess and Shanoon were available to talk and enjoyed sometime together they need this too.
