"Let’s go to bed." Bette said. Tina walked up to next to Jess who was uncovered. She kissed her goodnight and then covered her up. She kissed them all one more time before following Bette out of the room.

They began to get ready for bed.

"You always sleep better when they all are a couple feet away from you." Tina said.

"You too." Bette said.

"Seeing them in there reminded me of the first time we went on vacation as a family. Just me, you, and Jess." Tina said.

"That one was a disaster if I remember correctly." Bette said getting into bed.

"Yeah it kind of was but it was the first time that Jess called me part of the family." Tina said.

"When did she do that?" Bette asked.

"It was during the flight back. You were asleep and she was drawing a picture of her family. I asked who everyone in the picture was and pointed to one and said that it was me. I almost started crying." Tina said.

"I had no idea." Bette said.

"You don’t know everything, even though you think you do." Tina said getting into bed next to Bette.

"Yes I do." Bette said.

"Okay babe." Tina said giving in. Bette snuggled up to Tina putting her arm across her.

Tina walked into the kids room and opened the curtains. Jess, Ian and Shannon all turned to hide their eyes from the bright sunlight. She sat down on the bed next to Jess.

"Jess. Its time to get up. You have to be at practice in an hour and a half." She said gently shaking Jess.

"Come on just five more minutes." Jess mumbled. Tina smiled.

"That’s why I woke you up five minutes early." Tina said and moved to wake up Shannon who usually gave the same response as Jess. Jess watched Tina leave the room and then sat up and looked around. She slowly moved out of the bed and into the next room.

"Good Morning." Bette said who was sitting in the bed drinking her usual cup of tea.

"MMMmmm" Jess said and moved towards the bed collapsing on it next to Bette.

"If you go back to sleep you’ll be late for practice." Tina said.

"I’ve got five minutes." Jess said.

"Actually we have twenty." Shannon said hovering over the breakfast tray.

"Even better." Jess said burying her face against Bette.

"There is a huge article about you two in the Newspaper." Bette said. Jess didn’t budge but Shannon did.

"Let me see." She said. Bette handed her the newspaper that had a large picture of Jess and Shannon standing back to back with the arms crossed. The headline read PORTER SISTERS SHOW’EM HOW ITS DONE.

"Jess I think your phone is buzzing." Tina said picking up Jess’s jean jacket.

"Let it go. I don’t feel like talking to anyone." Jess said as the buzzing stopped.

"Here if it rings again you better answer it might be important." Bette said.

"Yeah it might be Cat." Shannon teased. Jess made a vulgar hand sign at her.

"Hey now none of that." Bette scolded and hitting Jess.

"Sorry." Jess said. Her phone went off again.

"It is Cat." Shannon said picking up the phone and handed it to Jess.

"Hey." Jess said.

"Are you okay?" Cat asked.

"Yeah why?" Jess asked.

"You haven’t seen the news have you?"

"No but I saw the article in the newspaper. Why what’s on the news?" Jess asked sitting up in the bed looking for the remote.
