    Where are we having Dinner?

    Previously:

    "So you will let me take you out to dinner tonight?" Cat asked.

    "Yes. What do I need to wear?" Jess asked.

    "Something Dressy and sexy." Cat said

     

    Cat paced anxiously in the lobby of the hotel. She straightened her black and white pin stripped pant suit in a mirror.

    "Come on Cat get a hold of yourself. It’s just Jess. The woman you love." Cat said to herself.

    She saw Jess step out of the elevator and she smiled.

    Jess was wearing a white formfitting sleeveless dress. Her silver earrings sparkled through her soft brown curls. Jess walked towards Cat.

     

    "Hey there." Cat said pulling Jess towards her.

    "Hi Babe." Jess said.

    "Are you ready to go?" Cat asked.

    "Yes. Where are we going?" Jess asked.

    "Some where special." Cat said.

    "Would this have anything to do with the phone call you made to your dad?" Jess asked.

    Cat smiled.

    "I did didn’t it." Jess said.

    "Yeah is did." Cat admitted as they walked out the front door.

    "You got us a limo to." Jess said.

    "Well to be honest I wasn’t going to but my mom suggested it." Cat said.

    "You talked to both of them today. I impressed." Jess said.

    "I wanted some advice. I don’t want to screw up." Cat said as Jess got in the Limo. Cat in and sat next to Jess and the driver closed the door.

    "Just relax you aren’t going to screw up." Jess said.

    Jess took Cat’s hand and kissed it. Jess could tell that Cat was extremely nervous because Cat was fidgeting a little.

    "What’s up Babe?" Jess asked.

    "Nothing." Cat said.

    "Then why are you fidgeting so much." Jess said.

    "I just want everything to go right tonight that’s all." Cat said.

    "What are the numbers for the game tomorrow?" Jess asked. She was trying to get Cat’s mind off of whatever was bugging her.

    "Us by 2, but you already knew that." Cat said.

    "No I didn’t." Jess tried to play it off.

    "Come on you usually know before the rest of us." Cat said.

    5. Looks like Cat is hitting a home run with everyone in the family except Shannon. I hope that Shannon can make peace with her as a caoch and her sister’s girl. Heck Jess would have had a similar if not worst problem if she had stayed with Laurie, in reference to Cat as a Coach. Thanks for the updates, please continue :o)

    8. Thanks for posting 3 chapters. Jess and Cat are sweet. Jess is a handful w/a smart ass mouth. Sometimes rude to her parents and they take it which surprises me.

    11. I like that Cat was real nervous about her date with Jess. It would not seem real without the butterflies.I also thought Cat was sweet asking Tina for Jess’s favorite foods. Hope you post again soon =).

    15. Charmed, that was lovely. Cat really sttod up and opened her heart and soul to the whole family and stated hre case admirably. She simply loves Jess and hopes for a life together. This is so reminiscent of how I imagined Bette and Tina to be. I can just see Bette doing the same as Cat with Tina’s family as she professes her love. Can’t wait to see what dessert may be.
