Jenny was now a staff writer on a new HBO
show, featuring lesbians.  There were no
    werewolves, no Frankenstein monsters.
Just a bit of angst and a lot of laughter.  It was in the early development stages, but
the outlook seemed good, very promising.
Since the Showtime show was floundering in its third season, HBO was
fast tracking it for a late fall premiere.
Hoping to capitalize on the newest trend in TV, being ***** was now cool.

Marina had turned the Planet into a night club
at night, with the help of
    Kit
    and Ivan.  Everything
was fine on their front, enjoying their friends and their lives with one
    another.

Tina‘s new job kept her away from home only
one or two days a week.  If she was gone
for the weekend, many times Daisy and Cassandra joined her, getting to visit
the sets of various TV shows and movies.
The rest of the time, she was in an office in
    Seattle
    .
Having lunch with Daisy when she could, and Cassandra was planning an LA
    wedding in
    June
    .

Cassandra was starting a new school,
    with the help of
    Shelby Pryde
and her mysterious benefactors.  An out reach program for troubled teens in Seattle, she was up to her ears on grant
proposals and finding land for the small school.  To take in the kids that just didn’t seem to
have anywhere else to go, something nonprofit but filled with qualified
    teachers and professionals.

Daisy had gotten into the Seattle School for the Gifted, and had gotten high honors her first
    semester, prompting her to tell
    Tina
she wanted that car she’d promised.  Tina was still trying to get out of the promise, but Daisy
was holding fast.  She wanted the car,
    and
    Tina
    wanted more time.

Quin and Alice‘s show was taking off, due much to the
fact that they were getting bands to play in the dead of the night.  Also their banter was intoxicating, keeping
even the most jaded of listeners glued with huey
    bluey
    as
    Alice
put it, to the station.  They bouncing off one another, Quin was much
freer on the air than when she was sitting with someone in person, her sense of
humor was classic straight man.  And
    Alice
off set that with the silly.  Leading them to having a very solid
    following.

    1. Thank you very much for the story. although there’s no TiBette, it didn’t prevent this from being a great story. And I like the speed of your update. Thanks.

    2. Ok, that was great! Hats off to you!! I never guessed that Cherie was the culprit and Tonya as Dana’s manager is somehow fitting here. As was stated before, we so appreciate the frequency of the updates and hope you will be able to continue with the Gathering. Now for the carrot that you dangled in front of all Tibetters: The song was good for the scene, but even more fitting for B&T. Yeah, B&C and T&C are matched “OK” (rolling my eyes), but where is the drama and excitement in that…I am not exactly sure where you are going next, but I am here for the ride. JKDWYD

    3. Oh where do I begin? Words cannot describe how I feel right now. I’m sad and happy at the same time. Happy because everybody is happy…and sad because the story has ended. I absolutely loved it, from beginning till the very end. I’ve read good fan fiction before, but never before have I read anything as brilliant as this fic. It’s destinctive, cause it’s not all about our L word girls. You’ve introduced so many new characters that I’ve grown to love. You’ve created relationships that at first sight seemed weird but turned them into relationships that we all dream off. Thank you for giving us the honor of reading your work. I will be reading more of your work and I’m very excited about your new story. J, you are so talented, it’s amazing!!! Thanks again ;)

    4. Excellent!!!!! I have to say that I was away for a few days and when I came back I had alot of catching up to do. I wanted to comment a few times, but there were already like 5 or 6 more chapters posted. Anyway, I was cracking up and found it very interesting when you wrote about Jenny’s new job @ HBO for a lesbian show, because the other show on another network was floundering in its 3rd season. I guess I just found it funny because there is so much hype for season 3. Anyway, loved your story and I really fell in love with all the new characters and the new relationships. Thanks Again!! Hope you have Happy Holiday!!!

    5. Ditto to everyting that was said above!….I am so going to miss the characters that you created in this amazingly written story. What would be so awesome, is if you continued this story!! I am so looking forward to The Gathering.

    6. WOW! I’m speechless. So Happy w/ the way you ended your story, but sad to know these particular characters story will not con’t. Early morning, late evenings always checking for your fic reading it through tired eyes after & before work I was definitely hooked. Looking forward to your future fics & the Jaded Wind series. EXCELLENT wrap to all the storylines. Bravo JM.
