    Dana does something un-Dana-like – Peggy Peabody makes a date – Shane finds a new home – Shane tells Dana about a secret – Bette breaks things off with Candace – Tina talks to her mom – Alice finally breaks down some of Quin’s walls – Cassandra and Tina get closer

                She felt responsible for Shane for some reason, Dana had always put Shane down and she felt that somehow that had
    driven     Shane     into the arms of a woman that was
    married.  She knew that was bullshit but
    she cared for     Shane     and no one else was going to know how to help her
    deal with this better than her.      Shane     wasn’t going to fall into a pit of
    despair, she wasn’t going to get depressed, she was going to learn to live and
    thrive within her limitations.  



                “I’m doing this, I’m sorry Tonya.”  Dana said, walking out of the room and leaving Tonya wondering what the ***** was going on
    with     Dana Fairbanks    .

                “JOSE!”  Peggy Peabody yelled and Jose came running into the room, and she
    looked at him, forgetting what she’d wanted.  He smiled, handing her the phone and she
    laughed, of course.      Jose     was the most devoted servant she’d ever
    had, and she never wanted to lose him.



                “Darlin!”  She yelled into the phone and the young woman
    groaned at the other end,     Alice     winced and blinked, clearing her throat.

                “Um, no I’m sorry.  This is Alice Pieszecki?  Bette Porter‘s friend?  I was wondering if you’d be interested in
    doing an interview for LA Magazine?  I
    know that you never grant them, but I was hoping…”      Alice     began and Peggy waited for more, Alice had been given the assignment to try to
    tap down     Peggy Peabody     for an exclusive interview.

                “Is that your pitch Ms. Pieszecki?  Come
    on; do better than that, inspire me to speak with you.”      Peggy     said, and Alice giggled, she had spoken to her briefly
    at the CAC party and     Peggy     had been a wonderful speaker, always articulate and
    funny.

                “I’m just such an admirer of
    all the things you’ve done for the world of art, and the current show at the
    CAC is breathtaking!  I heard about the
    new musical center you are opening, and sponsoring of bands in the local area.  I was awestruck the other night, and I wanted
    so much to talk to the woman whose passion brought all of this together….”  Alice     was ranting and then Peggy waved her hand as if Alice could see her.

                “Enough.”  Peggy said, sipping the Road
    Kill     drink that     Jose     had made her and a sigh from Alice.

                “Say, Sunday?  At noon?  We’ll
    have lunch, here at my home.  Get the
    address from     Bette    ; I’m sure the woman has it on her Rolodex thing, or
    Pad Pilot gadget thingy….  Good day     Ms. Pieszecki    .”  Peggy said, hanging up the phone and nodding.

    3. Tina w/ Cassandra, Bette w/ Candace excellent pairings. Tina & Bette seem to function better w/ other people. I may be one of the few people who liked the character of Candace. I would like to see where you take this couple. Poor Shane hope she sends Steve’s ass to jail. Guess Cherie hasn’t visited (if she’s still alive), not surprised she was all about self.

    4. OH what a nice way to wipe the day out of my mind, I see I have a lot of JM reading to catch up on. OK and bette smells like wood LMAO!!! that was fucking hilarious. Alrighty off to read your other story.

    5. I feel so sad about Shane!!! She could talk to Bette and showed her that she made a big mistake!! I’d like Tina does not cheat Bette before she find out her infidelity. And I still want Bette feels a lot of guilty and pain!!!Nice post!!!
