    Let It Go

Good real good. Was all Dana would say. Not exactly eager to say too much.
Bette just smiled, she figured it would take a few open probes to get Dana talking freely.
So whens your next match and whats the field look like? Bette pressed on.
Well its in two weeks. My training been going well and my serves have been clocking around 100 mph. The real key is that Im getting a lot more consistent with it. Dana was warming up a little.
By this point they where strolling past the Treetops Terrance where Alices gliding experience had taken place. Looking over Bette had to just make the comment So Dana did Alice get you to glide through the tree tops?
Are you kidding .. once they told me the leather gloves were your only brakes I bailed on her. You know Im not totally crazy. Dana made her views known.
Bette laughs at Danas description, but amazed that she could so effectively resist Alices charms because no one knows better then Bette that when Alice wants you to do something sometimes you just give in just to shut her up.

I see you have a thick coat of armor when it comes to Alices gentle persuasion. Bette teases.

At this Dana blushes and confesses Well there were certain promises made and given which allowed a graceful exit from the tree top swinging which was all the description Dana was going to give.

Oh Dana you are so precious Bette said all the while laughing.

By this time Bette and Dana were in front of the lion area. Bette stopped her pace here and leaned against the rail trying to get a view of the lion. Dana came to a stop beside her and just was peering in the cage. At that moment a male lion struts from behind a large clump of high grass and paces back and forth before warning Bette and Dana off with a loud roar. Dana flinched and jumped at the ferocity of the roar. With that Dana slowly took a step back away from the rail.

Bette had witnessed Danas reaction to the lion. It was more than simple surprise at the volume of the roar. This confirms in part of what Bette had guess about Dana. She doesnt do will with real loud noises.
