The next few of weeks flew by, Alice and Dana sneaking impromptu make out sessions whenever they could, which wasnt as frequent as they would like between visiting Bette, work, tennis, and having Tina around.
Alice picked up her phone and dialed Danas number, Hey there *****, Alice purred.
Dana giggled into the receiver, Hi, you hot momma.
Yeah, were gonna work on that. Youre gayer than me and I have to train you in how to be *****.

Hey there, no need to be mean. Im not undecided, but I could be 100% ***** at this very moment. And youre doing a very good job in making up for that ever since you came out. I was wondering if you felt like going clubbing tonight. Shane found some hot new club like half an hour away.

Dana arrived at Alices apartment, eager to see her new girlfriend. Lifes craziness and her perceived need to have a somewhat private relationship, made it feel like the relationship hadnt progressed much in past few weeks. Dana blamed herself for that, she wasnt ready for the whole gang to know how serious they were. She didnt want the questions, it was bad enough practically getting caught red handed that day at the Planet, but she hoped that maybe Shane and Tina thought that it was a one time rebound fling. The time apart was good for Dana. Her heart ached when they werent in each others company, which to Dana confirmed that she indeed felt something very real and powerful towards her friend. Alice opened the door, her eyes bulging, Wow, you look really nice.
Dana smiled, You too. She went to hug Alice who was moving in to kiss her hello. They collided. Sorry.

Geez, Dana, surprising as it may sound, I dont know everything. Besides there is no proper protocol for these things.

Alice couldnt take it anymore. She leaned in and kissed Dana. That was a long one.
Dana gave her a quick peck on the lips, And thats a short one. She grinned at Alice who smiled back at her before they went back inside and retrieved Tina, Shane, and Jenny.
The gang walked into the club, the atmosphere was set for a night of fun. Dana nudged Alice, Would you like to dance?
Alice feigned anger, Can I get a drink first? Her tone softened, Come with me to the bar. What do you want?
A beer.
Dont start with a beer. Ill order you something good. Alice handed Dana a drink.
What is this?
A captain and coke.
Dana took a sip through the straw, Its good.

Can we dance now?
Youre so impatient.
I like this song, Dana dragged Alice to the dance floor. The music was mostly fast and they were having a fun time showing each other goofy dance moves. Every now and then Alice would twirl Dana and guide her into her arms and they would giggle, proud of the fact they could do a few synchronized dance moves. Dana pulled Alice close for a slower dance. Their bodies seemed to fit together.
Alice rested her head on Danas shoulder, the smell of her perfume and shampoo was nearly intoxicating. She inhaled deeply, enjoying it. She brushed her lips lightly on Danas neck.
Dana felt her eyes slightly roll back and a tingle at the base of her spine. She ran her hands slowly up and down Alices back where they eventually found her shoulders and glided to her neck, her fingers toying with the short hair on Alices neck.
Alice lifted her head off the tennis players shoulder and smiled before kissing Dana on the dance floor. They stopped dancing, their energy focused on the kiss.
Jenny tapped Shanes shoulder, Are Dana and Alice together?
Why?
Jenny pointed to the middle of the dance floor, Theyre kissing.
Tina, man, check it out. Shane showed Tina what Jenny just showed her.
I knew it. Those two were getting a little more cuddly than normal. Well, Shane, I think its official now.
The three of them pushed their way closer to their friends. They danced until Dana and Alice took a breathing break. Alice saw all of them behind Dana. Shane was giving her the thumbs up, Jenny had a huge smile plastered on her face, and Tina pointed at her in mock anger. She burst out laughing.
Dana spun around, still seeing her friends in nearly the same exact poses as Alice saw them. She covered her face in her hands.
Alice yelled in Danas ear, Lets go somewhere quiet.
Dana nodded in agreement and followed Alice to a back room with a big red velvet couch. They sat next to each other and continued where they had left off, the kiss becoming more passionate without peoples eyes on them.
