    The itch, the swelling and the pain..

    “I’m sure, but I don’t feel like going for a swim today.” The brunette answered with a lazy sigh. The huge rash on her buttocks gave her enough reason to stay out of the water and the jellyfishes it contained – at least for this morning. Since it took the medic a few agonizing minutes before reaching Bette and pouring vinegar on the sting, the jellyfish toxin had spread from the minuscule spot below her ass to the heiress’ entire right butt cheek. This prompted an impish Alice to name their leader’s ass the Two-Faced Moon – but of course, she only mentioned it behind Bette’s back – both literally and figuratively.

    “I feel bad about leaving you alone in here..” Tina wrapped her arms around her girlfriend’s waist, hugging the girl from behind and placing tiny kisses on her exposed neck. She was careful not to press into Bette’s body too much – knowing how much discomfort the girl still felt on her backside.

    “Don’t be. I don’t want you to miss out on all the fun just because I’m opting to be a killjoy and stay behind.” The heiress placed her hands over the blonde’s and leaned back into her soft and inviting body, loving the warmth she felt there. Of course, she couldn’t help but rub against her a bit – her rash was getting itchy.

    “Are you sure?”

    “Mm-hm.” Bette nodded. “Besides, you’ll only be gone for about two to three hours, that’s not too long. I’ll just use the time to rest up a bit before we leave for the boating trip later..” She shifted her body around and faced Tina, leaning in to place a gentle kiss on her lips, both girls smiling at the contact. A knock sounded from inside the suite at the exact moment that she pulled back. She sighed at the interruption and its impeccable timing. “I think that’s them..”

    Tina glanced at her wristwatch. “They’re on time..” She said in mild surprise. Well that was a new occurrence for their forever tardy friends.

    “Savor the moment. It doesn’t happen very often.” Bette chuckled, loosening her hold on her girlfriend. And with a last lingering kiss goodbye, they parted ways – with the somewhat hesitant blonde walking back inside and the injured brunette fondly watching her retreating form. “Take care of yourself, okay? I love you.”

    4. Brilliant, as always, Alchemy. Your dialogue and descriptions are so funny. The image of itchy, swollen Bette is just hilarious, especially the breakfast scene. I always look forward to your posts as they brighten any day! Thanks so much for continuing this story.

    5. A hairbrush is a good way to help relieve the itch. Damn jellyfish and other stinging things. I guess that the economic situation is even hitting the fan fiction stories. I love Bette and Tina with their humor along with their love.

    6. Poor Bette, she is too young to be in this economical dilemma. Is it that bad?, is she afraid she has to reduce the number of employees by firing them?, O Alchemy, I’m really hooked up and want to know what will happen :)

    7. Okay… after the fun in the sun with Alice and Shane, and Bette’s… unfortunate (but funny)… bite on her derrière, I’m now worried. Why are the number of employees significant? Is Bette worried about the sheer amount of people she’ll have in her employ? What’s going on with Melvin? What’s happening with PGC? It’s all very ominous, but very gripping. Love the story, thanks Alchemy.

    8. Have I told you I LOVE this story?? Their bantering is so funny & I love both the tenderness & the roughness between them. As you know the “…” are my favorites- they speak volumes..I mean I can SEE the expressions on their faces! And now you leave us hanging tooo…You are SO VERY AWESOME!!
