    Until the end of time…Prince

     

    Unable to let the separation or anger grow they talked more than ever only to find that talking with each other was something that they both missed.  It seemed lately that it was only when they were apart that they talked and they made a point of spending time apart over the four weeks to do just that.  They had given up verbal communication when they were together unless Angelica was present or awake. They came to cherish the time that they spent each evening talking on the phone. 

     

    Moving day had finally arrived. They had managed the month to their surprise and to the surprise of both their friends and detractors.   The movers had deposited and unpacked boxes as directed and the bulk of the work was done by five o’clock that day.  Angelica having spent the day with Kit was fed and happy to be home. 

     

    “We are home?”  Angelica looked first at Tina then at Bette. 

     

    “We are all home.”  Tina answered and Bette confirmed. 

     

    “I stay with both mommies all the time now?”

     

    “Yes Boo.”  Bette smiled at her. 

     

    “I swim everyday now?”

     

    “Yes, baby.”

     

    “Yeah” Angelica gave them a big smile and raced off to her room. 

     

    Their first evening living together again as a family was peaceful and satisfying in a way it could not have been had they not separated and found their way back to one another. 

     

    Tina opened a bottle of red and brought it to the couch where Bette sat watching her as she crossed the room.  Her blood began to warm as it invariably did when she really looked at Bette.  She gave her a smile which grew as Bette returned it.  Life was good. 

     

    “I have a small gift for you” Tina confessed.

     

    Bette smiled before answering. “You are all the gift I will ever need.”  She said with a voice full of emotion.  Still her eyes lit up at the gaily wrapped package.  Tina watched as she removed the paper to reveal the jewel cases that were within. 

     

    “Open this one first” Tina directed pointing to the long rectangular box.

    3. Hey Kelika. I am so glad you added this extra chapter! I, like one or two others, really didn’t see how the conclusion fitted with the rest of your story. That said, you did warn us. Guess it’s not my thing. I did read all the other comments interested in the insight/opinions they provided. Here’s to open debate! This chapter just balanced things out for me – hey I’m a Libran! Well, Happy New Year to you all, where ever you may be! Here’s hoping S5 finally gives us what we want. As for ep1, wow the look Bette gives Tina over Jody’s shoulder……

You know these two, inside and out, better than IC and her staff and you write them so well, so beautiful and truly loved. I can never get enough of these two lovebirds and the way you always get to the core of them and bring the passion, lust and love alive right before our eyes. Thanks for a delightful epilogue and thanks so much for sharing your extraordinary talent and your love for all things TiBette with us. Happy New Year. (you know you could always write a sequel.)LOL

    16. I was surprised and delighted to see that you added an epilogue to the fantastic story. Would love to see you post a sequel to this one. You could call it, “Running Away With Me.” **play on words from the old Temptation song** I also watched the first episode of S5 online and LOVED IT! Tina looks absolutely GORGEOUS this season.     17. Right back at ya Kelika. I got nothing but love. Well, that’s not true. I have respect for you as well. There are other writers who when confronted with an opinion different than their own, feel the need to defend through negativity. They try to make the person who commented look bad, or they tend to patronize them. But you didn’t do that at all. Which proves that not only do you have talent, but you have class, Kelika. Lots and lots of class.
