    Just some fluff/ filler

    A month later….

    Bette and Helena were going on dates at least once a week. More than anything, they enjoyed each other’s company. They were raised similarly, with the same work ethic and with the same struggles against their parents for acceptance. They had a lot in common, and what they didn’t have in common, they could talk about and debate with one another without arguing. Helena felt like she couldn’t fall for anybody harder than she was falling for Bette. Bette couldn’t imagine liking someone more than she was liking Helena. They were so into each other.

    Bette, Megan, and Kit would go out once a week together as a family night. Megan was taken with her sisters, but was nervous to tell them everything that went down with Carmen. She didn’t know how they would react or if they would be supportive. She and Carmen were spending a lot of time together, but she had never brought her into West Hollywood for more than ten minutes. Though Megan was supportive, Carmen still hadn’t felt comfortable enough in West Hollywood.

    Bette walked into the Planet and spotted Alice and Helena sitting at their usual table. She walked over and leaned into Helena’s ear.

    "You look lovely this morning." She whispered, causing Helena to blush.

    "Thanks." This didn’t go unnoticed by Alice.

    "Okay, like, what the hell?" Alice said, watching two of her closest friends flirting.

    "What are you talking about, Alice?" Bette asked, taking a seat beside Helena. Helena rested her head on Bette’s shoulder and looked at Alice who had the most adorably confused smile on her face. Bette looked at Helena and smiled, the sweetest and most content smile Alice had ever seen.

    "Like, wow! What is this?" She motioned with her hands to the two of them, "You’re hugged up, you’re smiling, and it looks really chummy."

    "We are chummy, Alice." Helena said softly.

    "How chummy?"

    "We should just tell her, babe." Bette said.

    "Tell me what, babe?"

    "We’ve been dating for a month or so."

    "And nobody told me?! God, how did I not notice? So are you a couple?"

    "We’re dating, Alice." Helena said, sternly, "Maybe we’ll be a couple soon, but we’re just dating."

    "One day at a time, Al. Don’t marry us already."

    1. Hey ash I am still here, won’t leave until MOnday morning. Anyway, this is a great chapter Bette asking Helena to go steady with her so sweet and send her white roses, loveit. And I see that Megan is really taken with Carmen and vice versa.

    2. Could anything be cuter than Bette and Helena going steady? Keeping their relationship hidden from the all-knowing Alice for a whole month was quite an accomplishment. James is the man!

    3. hey! i just ran into this story yesterday and i have to say that i love it! u wont believe it but i was thinking on doing a fanfic in which carmen would be with a teen..but instead a mini porter, she was a mini peabody! LMAO anyways, i’m not a belena lover but you manage to make it some way exciting .pps

    8. ash….You’re doing a great job w/this story. I love the hesistancy on the part of Bette and Helena to actually date and try and build a relationship. It wasn’t a fluff chapter at all. Carmen and Megan are cool together. PPS.
