Tina awoke to a loud buzzing noise, she reached to the place where the alarm clock was in her old room, finding nothing but empty space. She opened her eyes slowly, almost panicking before it set in and Dana stirred beside her. A groan slipped past her cousins lips, a palm slamming on the snooze button.

9 more minutes. Dana said groggily, falling back into her pillow.

Cmon, just get up. It wont make a difference. Tina said excitedly, swinging her legs off the edge of the bed. She inhaled the fresh morning air, finding a hint of what seemed to be coffee beans roasting. Her head shook as Dana pulled the covers over her face, falling back into a weak state of sleep.

Tina decided to use the time wisely, and use all the hot water while she was at it. She pushed into the bathroom, ignoring the glares that her younger cousin, Howie, shot her way. She locked the door behind her, for good measure. Lord only knew what the 5 year old was capable of, so young and so destructive.

The exhausted blonde struggled for a mere minute with the water temperature, stepping over the edge of the tub into a steaming embrace that left her skin tingling. She washed quickly with a thick lather of soap that smelled of honey and vanilla, her personal favorite. A loud banging on the wood startled Tina as she quickly shut off the water, wrapping a towel around her chest.

Tina! Hurry the ***** up, I need to shower too you know! Dana screamed, fists pounding against the hollow wooden door.

Alright calm down, Im coming. She muttered loudly enough for everyone to hear, gathering her dirtied pajamas as she exited.

Dana hurriedly pushed past her cousin and slammed the door behind her. Tina laughed and headed back to her new living quarters, digging through her bags for a few moments. What might people in California wear to school? Jeans? She pulled out her 3 favorite pairs of jeans, taking a moment to look over each one before she decided on a faded set that fell low on her hips. For her top she chose an amber shaded tank top, the color perfectly matching that of her eyes.
