“Welcome to the show. Today I’m in the Kitchen with a special lady. She is as sweet as the sweets we’ll be cooking up tonight. Everybody welcome Bette Porter of the Los Angeles’ own Bette Porter Gallery.” sound effect applause once again fill the air, Tina claps as well and motions for Bette to join her on the other side on the counter. Bette gets up from her seat and walks around to meet Tina. Tina positions her to stand to her left. “Look into the camera and says hello to the people” Tina whispers into Bette ear.

“What Camera?”

“That Camera.” Tina points to the camera with the red light on.

“Oh Shit.”

“We’ll have to edit that out. It’s a family show you know.”

“Sorry, I’ll start over.” Bette says and composes herself.

Tina was getting a kick out of unsettle Bette for a minute. She watched her quickly recover and play the role that she placed her in.

“Hello everybody it’s great to be here. Tina thanks for having me here today and I am really looking forward to this. Let’s get on with the sweets.”

Tina was quite impressed with how Bette eased into being spontaneous and improvising along with her.

“Well today is all about Sweets for the sweet. And my favorite sweets always involve chocolate. In my book there is nothing better than a dessert laced with chocolate. So today we will be creating for your viewing and tasting pleasure a ‘No Bake’ chocolate wonder ‘Chocolate Carmel Crème Pie.’"  Sound effects of Ooooos and ahhhs fill the air.

Tina motions for Bette to stand closer to her. Tina runs off the list of ingredients that will be used in the recipe. And has Bette read a portion of the ingredients list herself. Tina had decided that she wanted to a have a little controlled fun with Bette tonight. She had plans to throw Bette off a bit by her actions during the recording. The recipe called for cognac to be used in the making of the crust.

After the list was read Tina says as her actions follow her words “You take the crushed chocolate cookies, butter and to it add two tablespoons of Cognac. Bette could you hand me the Cognac please?”
