    Author Notes:

    Bette and Tina continue on their odyssey. Bette is scared she has never felt this way before about another person. Tina knows exactly what she wants. But she is a little nervous about the first time.

                  ***CHAPTER FOUR***
                 Tina’s Apartment – 6:00AM

    “Hello?”  Tina says groggily.  “Good morning sleepy head.  It’s time to get up Baby.”  Bette said cheerfully.  “Oh God don’t tell me your one of those people who wake happy?”  Tina said sarcastically.  “Yes, yes I am.” Bette replies matter-of-factly.  “Oh well, it’s a good thing I found this out before anything got started.  Sorry Bette, it’s over.  No happy people in the morning for me!”  Tina said resolutely as she’s stretching.  Bette shot back, “Okay I’ll be a bitch.”  Tina answers just as quickly.  “Now we’re talking!”  Tina’s mood changes to her sweet, and happy self. “Hi Babe, I slept with my pillow last night.  I named my pillow Bette and she is the bomb.  She kept me safe and warm, but she tried to get a little frisky!  How did you sleep Baby?”  Bette answered dreamily.  “I dreamt about this sexy, hot, blonde I met at the Planet last night.  I was going to ask her to come home with me, but she didn’t seem to be interested in me?” Tina fired back. “What a bitch.  I hope you told her to get lost, and by the way, I’ll clock you one, if you bring anyone home from the Planet, Missy.” Tina professed.  “Aren’t we being possessive this morning? And who is this Missy person?”  Bette asked.  “You’re Missy and yes I’m possessive when it comes to you.  After all, look how long we’ve been together.  I have two hours invested in this relationship?  I have to protect what’s mine! HA! HA! — Bette your so much fun in the morning!” Tina said laughing.  Bette replies “Honey anything for you.  You make me happy… Okay enough talk, go take your shower, (Bette thought to herself, I’ll be thinking about you taking a shower!!) I don’t want you to be late for work, and more importantly I have to compose a very sexy voice mail.”

     

    Tina asks hesitantly, “Will I see you tonight?”  There was a pause…Bette finally answers, “Well, I don’t…. Of course I’ll see you tonight! … I had you going there for a minute, didn’t I?”

     

    Tina answers, “Bette that’s not funny.  I was almost in tears…  I was thinking, maybe Bette thinks I’m just… ‘TO MUCH WOMAN FOR HER! …  Gotcha!  Okay now I really have to get ready.  Baby I can’t wait to see you tonight.  I’ll be thinking of you all day.  Honey, I love you.”

    6. Hey TDMama, Fantastic to read that Bette and Tina can’t keep their hands off of one another. The build up and play out was awesome. Loved how all hte rest of the gang had money on them failing to last until Friday. Guess those close to you often know you better than you know yourself. Kepp up the wonderful writing.
