    Chapter 38

     

    Theres a knock on the door, and Tina runs to open it. There on their front

    Porch, she sees her mother, the others are standing behind her.

    Youre here. Tina says and smiles and moves in for a hug. Bette is walking up behind Tina and smiles at the sight of her wife hugging her mother. Tina let go and move on to her father. And then in the back, Tinas brother and his family. Scott notice Bette and runs past everyone to Bette. He smiles as he runs. Bette sees that he comes running.

    Hey, there little man, how are you? Bette says as she picks him up and hugs him. Emily moves up to Bette after a hug with Tina.

    Yes, he has asked about of you every week. Emily says laughing. Bette smiles at this.

    Come on in everyone. Bette says as she still has Scott in her arms. When they get inside she puts him down. She walks over to Angelica, Tina is close behind. Bette picks her up and places her in Tinas arms. Tina turns around towards her family. Everyone move in close and admire the new addition.

    Can I see too? Scott asks. Bette moves and picks him up so he also can see Angelica.

    Shes so little. He says and puts his index finer on Angelicas leg.

    Everyone smile at his sweet comment.

    You were also this small once. Emily says and smiles at him.

    Angelica is starting to wake up. And she starts to cry immediately.
    Oh, I think our little angel is hungry. Tina says. Why dont you guys go out onto the patio, while I feed her. If you brought swimwear, you can use the bathroom and out bedroom to change. She says and then walks into Angelicas bedroom. Bette follows, she closes the door.

    First impression? Bette asks.

    Im happy, this means so much to me. You have no idea how much. Tina replies.

    Im glad, I better go out there again. I love you. She says and leans down for a kiss.

    I love you too, Ill be right out. Tina says.

    It was just the kids who wanted to swim, so Emily and Sean helped the kids with their bathing suits. Joanna and Jeffrey took a seat at the outdoor dining table. Bette came out. The kids run passed Bette and jumps in the water, making a huge splash.

    5. This was great…what a feeling to know that your parents are happy for you in your life. It makes a huge difference…I wonder if they know just how much?

    8. The kiss is a nice touch to this story. It is nice for T’s parents to see T’s life with B and that it can be the same as other couples. You are portraying this new reunion nicely…..
