“Tina the whole time that you have lived with us you have never expressed interest in anybody. I hope that you take the chance to get to know this person. The right person could make all the difference in your life. Maybe it’s this Bette.”
“I don’t know Kelly I think that we get along rather well and I do feel a little chemistry but at the same time I’m scared. I don‘t know if I can handle such a big life change.”
“What being in love and loving someone in return?”
“No the being in love and loving a woman. I know that you’re comfortable with who you are and who you love. But I‘m just not as liberated as you are. I just don‘t know how my mom would take it. I couldn‘t handle her rejection. She my brother and sister are all the family that I have left.”
“Tina your mother is like most mothers, she loves you and I’m sure that she just wants you to be happy doing whatever you’re doing. I think moms want to protect us from pain and stuff like that but they want us happy and at peace with who we are. I know my mom does. When I came out to my mom she was kinda relieved. She knew before I was willing to admit it, but she wouldn’t ask. There’s a lot of pain in hiding your true self. So if you do decide to date this woman be honest with the people who mean the most to you. Honey, it’s going be okay.”
Tina wipes a tear from her cheek, “Thanks Kelly I needed to hear that.” Tina smiles.
“That’s what a big sister is for.” Kelly smiles back and hugs Tina. “Oh look there goes your girlfriend.”
Tina quickly lets go of Kelly and looks out the window as she sees Bette running by looking towards the house. “My God she’s beautiful.”
“You know how to pick em Tina, she is beautiful. Damn her. I wish I was born that beautiful. But Honey thank God for makeup and the ability to use it. And the wonders of a good plastic surgeon.” Kelly hugs Tina from behind putting her chin on her shoulder. “Go for it Tina, if not you might regret it for the rest of your life. Dare to be happy.” Kelly gives her a gentle squeeze and lets go leaving Tina to herself as Bette fades from her view.

In a months past by, i often wonder? what happen to you?..after you said that your going for a vaca, we never heard anything from you?..But now just like that again..you posted.. AND TWO CHAPTERS?..WOW OH WOW!.. Cool that Tina is going to be Bette’s neighbor, now all she have to do.. is wait till Bette jog along to their house!..HEHEH!
Yes, the kitten is ready to chase the big cat. I am ready for the two weeks to past. It’s nice to see that Bette is honoring the two week weight though, a little suspense never hurt, much.
