    Bette leaned in a planted a soft kiss on Tina’s….

     Previously 
    “I’ll still hang out here with you until she comes.  I wouldn’t want to abandon you.  After all you were my saving grace tonight.”
    ‘I would love to grace you every night’ runs through Bette’s head.  Bette simply smiles at her remark and thinks. ‘Okay Porter open your mouth and speak, you have verbal skills, so use them.’
    Chapter 11
    “Umm… Umm..” Clearing her throat looking towards Tina. “Tina. I was wondering if … if maybe we could uh…get together some time maybe… just hang out.”
    “I would like that.  But unfortunately I can’t. I can‘t associate with customers unless it was someone I already knew before working there.  Sorry.” Tina says looking at Bette’s expression of disappointment.
    “No, I’m sorry I forgot.  No fraternizing.   We just seem to get along so well.  I don’t remember the last time I took to someone so quickly.”
    “I think sometimes it’s a little easier to tell things to a stranger, maybe that’s it. “
    “No I don’t think so.”  Bette smiles. “You have this comforting way about you.  I don’t know quite what is it.”
    Tina slightly giggles “Bette you really don’t know me.”
    “I know.  But I would like to get to know you…better.”
    “Well… we can’t hang out now, but I won’t always work there.”
    ‘Oh God how long am I going to have to wait?’ Bette asks herself and looks away.
    “I’ll only be there for two more weeks.”
    “Two?  Where are you going?”
    “I’ll be finished with school and I’ll start my summer internship at Alphaville Studios in three weeks.”  Tina smiles. “I’ll be so glad to be finishing with classes.  The internship in going to kick my tail.”
    Bette excited about the possibilities of see this new blond outside of the club.  “Two weeks I can handle two weeks.” she smiles as relaxed smile.
    “You can always come back to the club and see me.”
    “No… I don’t think that I’ll do that.”
    “No?”
    “To be honest Tina, I respect what you are doing to provide for yourself and your family.  I really do.”  Tina smiles at Bette’s remark. “But when I said I wanted to get to know you… I meant the you that you really are.  The beautiful blond with hazel eyes and ….fully clothed.”

    7. 2 weeks?! I don’t think I could wait 2 weeks. Gosh, Bette will be pining so badly. ._. I sincerely hope that in our fanfic universe, 2 weeks translates to one day. Or less. =D I like how Tina seems be pretty self-assured in this one! Thanks Journey and don’t leave us hanging for too long! =)) PPVS!

    9. Yes, the girl can get together in two weeks, and hopefully Bette can get to know Tina a little better. But Bette has already made her feelings known, the ball is kinda in Tina’s court.
