    Over the next few months that they dated, Tina nursed a broken heart and a burgeoning attraction to Bette. Bette on the other hand, struggled with her desire to ravish Tina and marry her on the spot.

    Bette had been romantic, sending flowers to Tina’s office every other day. She had loved Tina unconditionally, not caring how Tina behaved. She knew Tina was still defensive and needed to lash out once in a while. But she endured it, knowing that Tina would feel her love and trust in her sooner or later.

    And Tina did. They became a couple and they had gone through their ups and downs but they were a good couple. They became known as the Golden Couple of WeHo. Everybody looked up to them as the pinnacle of successful lesbian relationships.

    Bette was brought back to the present by the sound of her phone buzzing.

    It was a text from Alice “Hey Bette, gonna cancel on you tonight, TK needs me more, she just broke up with Henry hint hint”

    Bette sat there re-reading it, trying to assess her own feelings towards the new development.

    Oh she definitely still loved Tina, but did Tina still love her? After all, Tina was, no scratch that, had been dating Henry. A man. A very heterosexual man. Was Tina even lesbian anymore? Would Tina even give her a chance?

    But things had changed, it had been two years after all. Her phone was buzzing again, she picked it up.

    “Bette? Tom here, Jodie wants to know if you want her to come over, she heard that Alice cancelled on you.”

    “Oh erm,” Bette was trying to reorient her disarrayed feelings but quickly gained control “of course! Of course I do, tell her I miss her and ask her to hurry.”

    She was with Jodie now, and Tina had made her own choices in life, that was all that she knew now.

    5. NOT jodie, dear god, can’t we just ignore the fact that she breathes and is on the planet, never thought I’d hear the name again. Hopefully, not for long. The woman just rubs me the wrong way entirely. Not only do I not like the character, I don’t like actress herself, she is always an arrogant, snippy little witch. Maybe that comes from the abuse she’s suffered at the hands of William Hurt, her former husband, I don’t know but I do know that I don’t like her at all. Now mentioning jodi in your story is tantamount to talking dirty. Have a great weekend. Thanks for posting.
