“That is a nice leisurely pace for the trail.” Karen nodded. “Allow me to have a bag packed with a blanket water and additional sun block should you want to rest along the way.”
They both had on their bathing suits under loose kakis and long loose bright shirts. Even as they strolled to the front door Bette was handed a canvas bag she could easily sling over her shoulder for the hike. They strolled out of the lobby hand in hand and even in their play clothes they turned heads.
The trail did not offer many physical challenges and for the most part they walked side by side. There were breaks in the trail back to the beach. The first cove they came across was unoccupied based on the signs they were told to look for. They stopped to swim in the sheltered waters. They did not bother to turn the painted stone as they did not require privacy. Bette went in search of the beach dune space that usually surrounded such spots. She discovered a short trail above that cave entrance which opened into a sandy alcove. She returned to retrieve Tina and their travel bag. She turned the stone painted side up. She spread out the blanket and they sat watching the water from their perch.
Two other hikers came along saw the overturned stone and kept on going.
“I like this signal system.” Tina smiled turning onto her back and pulling the brunette to her.
"Talk Tina” Bette commanded.
“I am talking” she moaned frustrated that there was so much more to be said between the two of them. “Where were we?”
“Never mind” Bette said lowering her mouth to Tina’s.
They were soon both breathless and Tina pulled away. Ironically she had been the one desperate to reignite their sexual relationship and now she had to call it to a halt at least until they talked more. She knew if they returned to WeHo without working through the basic issues between them she could lose Bette for good and she was not going to risk that for anything. She did not have the luxury of time.

Kelika, I’m not quiet, I’m just not sure how I feel about this reunion. O still think they’re moving to fast jumping into bed, but maybe after they talk I will have more to say.
I think the reunion is pefect, I don’t know why there is hesistation. Please continue! More talk will build the relationship stronger I believe. :-)
It goes back to Ro talking about Soul mates and that Tina was bette. Although the sex/intimacy with Ro is good, great even. At the end of the day it can’t shine against that of Tibette together. I can only hope that Bette follows her true love versus the over powering urge to not get hurt again by Tina.

They’d better work a little harder on those basic issues… they haven’t even gotten to the bigger ones yet. Time is slipping away from Tina indeed. If Ro gets Bette back, well, that’s all she wrote. Thanks for the update.
I have read each and every chapter of this story and it just keeps getting better. I can see the chemistry between Ro & Bette but you can feel the chemistry between TiBette. Tina is doing everything she can to get Bette to understand how much she desires her and wants her back in her life as her lover, partner, wife and mom to Angie. She needs to start talking and let Bette know how much she truelly desires her, admit the faults and figure out a way they can move into a new fulfilling relationship. Bette is conflicted but she also knows how strong the pull is between her and Tina. I know she doesn’t want to her Ro, but Ro even knows that them going away is the “end” of there relationship. I am standing in line with the rest for a TiBette reunion.

Hey Kelika, 3 chapters in one night… you’ve made me a very happy reader. Here comes Tina’s confusion agian. She needs to talk to Bette but doesn’t want to… maybe she’s afraid of what they will both say to each other. They have such a knack for miscommunication, misunderstanding and misinterpretation of each other’s words and intentions. I’m eager to hear that conversation. Thanks for the update. Hey Kelika, These last chapter were wonderful. I love the way that you had Bette and Tina reignite sexually and now have them attemplt to follow up that reconnection with their heads. Sometimes hearts can be the easy options but the logic amd trust can take longer. I truly want Bette and Tina to admit and face their fears. By soing this together a new stronger bond may be formed. this pair are the two halves of a single soul and deserve to be with ine another. Your have paced this perfectly and are now showing the rewards of patience and lve. More please. Thank you so much for all of this magical melodrama. Your Loyal Fan.
I see hope, yay! franphil…this time its Tina pushing for them to talk. Bette really is in a no lose situation, both Tina and Ro love her dearly. Tina could be crushed here yet still have to parent with Bette. I hope they work it out.

I love this story! and I love this “aggressive” Tina fighting for what she wants! Really hope Season 5 pans out like this! (Somehow doubt that though unfortunately!)
Well, if they HAVE to talk to work things through, I guess they better do it. ;) (I think I need a vacation to the place they’re at right about now…)
I agree with honda, but I am not as concerned as others about their swift physicall reconnection. It is NOT as if there where any malious intendant on either part to avoid talking by engaging in sex. It accured naturally when Bette was consoling Tina. It is good that they both realize that they are indeed physically attracted to each other. This was important because in the past at one point or the other, each felt that the other physically rejected the other or found the other unappealing. Now lets continue to work on cleaning up the emotional bagage :o).
i’m not above getting on my knees and begging for you to keep B&T together…i’m on my knees…now…begging

You have made Tina very wise and I have been too cynical. Maybe they can work things out by (verbal) communication . I just hope they both remember that they are perched atop a cave if one of them gets mad and abruptly storms off.
