    Who needs a dance floor for bump & grind…

    "Let’s just wait for Porter, OK!" Alice was the only one who spoke, her face deadly serious.

    "Uh OK" Tina’s happy demeanor was suddenly feeling very flat as she waited for Bette to return.

    Tina sat looking around at the silent faces, not a clue as to why they were acting this way, she looked across the crowd to see Bette walking back to the table with a tray of drinks, she gave a sigh of relief, not knowing how much longer she could stand the silence.

    Bette placed the tray on the table, having got everyone two drinks each, knowing it was a battle to get to the bar, she thought she would set them up for a little while, as she looked around at the solemn faces, her gaze rested on Tina’s face, their eyes communicating, Bette’s brow furrowed questioningly, Tina gave a shrug of her shoulders in reply.

    Bette also passed behind Shane, to take the empty seat beside Tina, as she sat down she allowed her hand to rest on Tina’s leg, squeezing gently, their eyes locking, they shared a smile.

    Bette looked around at the blank faces that were now focused on her, "what’s going on guys? Did someone die?"

    "That’s very insensitive Bette." Alice said blankly.

    "Ok, sorry, it’s just you know, we’re here sat in a club with thumping music and you guys are sat here like it’s a funeral parlor!" Bette said, giving her reasoning for the statement.

    "Well, now that you are both here, at long last. We have been here a while waiting for you, by the way!" Bette and Tina both looked at one another, feeling as though they were about to be reprimanded by their school teacher. "We…" Shane and Dana both look at Alice, "OK I I want to know what’s going on with you two. I know you said this morning you’d been, you know, not getting along, but this" Alice held both her hands out flat, waving at them from side to side, " what’s all this gooeyness this you keep touching each other like ALL the time and you just got here and you both stand there" Alice points behind here to where Bette and Tina had stood moments ago, " you stand there, kissing like that Bette, where is your hand right now?"

    17. You are such a good writer with all the graphic details of their love making. Sometimes I have take deep breaths and cold, cold showers just to survive. I love how you included the writers of the show. Do most of the fans truly dislike what is happening with Bette and Tina on the show or is it just a few die hard Bette and Tina fans? If it is true that a majority of the fans are pissed off will they make it better and put them back together. Maybe they can pull a Dallas and it was all a bad, horrible dream.
