Alice apartment

Alice and Bette arrive at Alices house, as soon as Alice opens the door Bette races to the telephone to hear Tinas message and to hear her voice, she looks at the caller id Unknown name unknown number.

Alice: Im sorry Bette

Bette: Its ok Alice if you talk to her, tell her I am sorry and I love her.

Alice: OK Bette I will.

Bette leaves and goes home, as she pulls into the driveway she begins to have tears flowing down her face. She enters the now empty house sits, on the couch and begins to cry. She looks and grabs a picture of her and Tina and holds it to her chest. How could she have been so stupid, she wanders? How could she hurt her Tina this way? How could Tina just disappear from her life? She begins to cry, she cries herself to sleep.

7pm Alice house

Dana arrives at Alices house nervous and talking to herself before she rings the bell. OK you can do this. Its Alice, *****, just go for it. She rings the bell.

Alice: hey

Dana: hey yourself

They both just stand there looking at each other; Dana puts her head down unable to look at Alice.

Alice: Ok awkward moment, come in.

Dana: So whats up Al?

Alice: Whats up with what, Dana? , You, and I, or Bette and Tina.

Dana: whats happening with Bette and Tina?

Alice: ok, you cant tell anyone

Dana: ok

Alice: well, apparently Ms Bette Porter done went and got herself a taste of carpenter sawdust candy.

Dana: What, uh, what are you talking about? What is that suppose to mean?
Alice: Oh, damn, wheres the fun if I have to explain it to you god you really are a jock.

Dana: very funny ha, ha.

Alice: Bette had an affair with Candace the carpenter that did the work on the Provocations exhibit.

Dana: Oh my god, oh my god, *****, Bette, where is Tina now?

Alice: she is all *****; up she made me drive her to the airport and took off destination unknown to me.

Dana: Does Bette know she left?

Alice: yeah I had to tell her you know, for loves sake.

Dana: (staring at Alice) yeah for loves sake. Listen I know you have a lot to think about with Tina and Bette do you want to do this another day?

Alice: Do what Dana, I mean what are we doing?

Dana: I mean you and me, we can just do it another day

Alice: No, you are not going to run out on me

Dana: Oh, like you did me yesterday, you come to my house tell me I cant marry Tonya, kiss me and leave me just like that.

Alice: Like what? , how did I leave you?

Dana staring at Alice , grabs Alice by the waist and pulls her in for a kiss.
