Chapter 3
The following day Bette was at the Planet having coffee and reviewing some papers. She had settled down from her Tina induced agitation. She had contemplated telling Helena but decided it was not worth upsetting her. She would handle Tina herself. Alice came in and spotted her sitting alone.
“What’s shaking Porter? No Helena?”
“She’s in NY this weekend”
“Ah yes, visiting the kids, I forget she’s got another life”
“Why didn’t you go with her?”
“Your earth daughter had a school production that you forgot” said Bette glaring at Alice.
“Shit! Fuck! Was that yesterday? Bette! Why didn’t you call me to remind me? You know my head’s in the clouds. I’m stressing about the web site. I’m stressing about Tasha and her fucked up dreams” Alice sat down and motioned the waitress over.
Putting her papers down to give Alice her full attention, she asked. “Has she gotten any help with that yet?”
“Yea, she’s finally seeing some one about it. They’ve got her on some meds. I think it helps a little.” as she held her index and thumb apart slightly. “So, how was the show?”
“Oh it was so cute” said Bette beaming, pushing her papers aside, “She was too adorable”. Then on a more serious tone, “There was one problem though, Tina hit on me big time. She wants to talk about what went wrong. She basically gave me an open invitation into her bed as a forum for discussion”
“Shit no! Shut the fuck! No, Bette No! responded Alice covering her mouth. Then looking at Bette waiting for a good response, “And you said?”
“I said it was over between us, but there she was looking good, smelling good, seducing me” said Bette as she squirmed in her seat, biting her lip.
“So did she turn you on?”
Bette nodded.
“What did you do? Please don’t tell me you went home with her.” As Alice slammed her hand on the table, “Porter you are such a whore”
“Alice, come on! Give me a little bit of credit. I didn’t go home with her. I called Helena and…and…”
“You fucked yourself because you were turned on. You are a whore! Bette, what are you going to do?”

Squirl this was a great chapter and Tina is really gunning for Bette,and Bette was almost at the point of no return IMO. But she was saved by the bell,lol. Can’t wait for the next chapter.
Hey there… quite a mess you built here… Bette is sooo not knowing what she wants… but Tina is really SO manipulative in this story, I just can’t stand… I think she just acts out of frustration… she does not want Bette when Bette is available… but she can’t stand someone else having her, especially if it could be serious (Jodie being no real threat…) — Bette really should tell everything to Helena, in order to be able to deal with Tina without feeling guilty… and Helena can surely stand by her… as long as Bette does not cheat :-)
God Tina is so manipulative! Helena needs to come back ASAP to claim her woman.
I agree with darkhawk..i wish Tina would push Bette the way she is doing until Bette just absolutely lets her have it with how she really feels about everything Tina has done,that Bette is supposed to just forget, how she never let Bette forget any wrong Bette has done and how she is using Angelica to manipulate her. I so wish Bette would do this.
Hello Squirl, I loved it; you are so handling this perfectly. The attraction between Tina and Bette is the ideology of a family, and the memories that they once shared, but Tina needs to realize that you can only push a person so far before you remove their resolve completely and in this case it could end up with Bette unleashing onto Tina a torrential storm of emotions she has been hiding, how she truly feels about Tina’s betrayal (I’m not naïve in thinking Bette is innocent but I think she has done her Penance in my eyes). I think that Tina is pushing Bette deeper and deeper into the arms of her new lover and the sting of jealousy might just explode in her face. You are truly amazing and I cannot wait for further developments. You Rock, Sincerely, JC
I think Bette should just ask Tina where all that love was when she was with Tina, trying to make it work, when tina was trying to destroy her. I don’t think Bette should ever mention her affair again..she paid for it as much as anyone could, and Tina chose to come back. I have never understood the “I wasn’t there when she lost the baby….” she was working and she didn’t know there was a problem. I think Tina is the whore, and using the baby to get Bette back is reprehensible.
Arrrgh!!!!! Well written but it’s TiBette for me. Yes, Helena is beautiful but B & T just fit together like a hand in glove. Their kisses are the most sensuous not the carping ones of Helena and Jodi. I have to remind myself that this is a TV show and not to take everything too seriously. Your story is well written and intelligent. You take effort in crafting your story. Too bad there’s so much emphasis on HeleBette. ;-)
oh yeah and its great Bette is getting a little somethin’ 2 to 3 times a day after the desert that was Tina in s3. Maybe Tina’s just horny and using their shared past to con Bette into a little hanky-panky just to prove that she still has a hold on Bette…u know the old push-pull stunt some women like to play. Geez you’ve really got me going on your Helbette story, simply proves you are a great writer!!!!!!!!
I cracked you UP????!!!! You are cracking me up here, first Bette spills all her beans to big-mouth Alice!!!! I loved the ‘whore’ comment tho’. Then you have Tina dissing Bette’s choice in women and her judgment so NOT A GOOD STRATEGY TINA!!!! Now Bette is lying to her woman!!!! my my my what a pretty mess we have here…all I can say is BRING IT ON, I’m ready and I’m so amused. PPS.

It’s true, Bette did screw up and make a big mistake having an affair, BUT Tina was NOT a saint later. She became extremely spiteful, did things to provoke Bette and hurt Bette. That was childish of her, and really showed how “unclassy” she could be. I HATE when people act like Tina did after a breakup. Alright now, you have us all waiting…post again.
Great update Squirl,I loved it. But I really think Bette needs too tell Helena. That was her biggest mistake with Tina. Sometimes it’s hard to let the past go, but Tina using the love of their child to get what she want, is just not cool. They both made mistake in their 8 year relationship. A relationship that should have ended maybe a long time before that. Bette may have been the love of Tina’s life, but was she the love of Bette’s life?
god squirl what are you doing to my poor BeLena heart ???? Please don’t let Bette fall for Tina’s fake confession again!!! We all know she doesn’t mean a thing of everything she told Bette now, she just wants her back because she’s with Helena. And who gives her the right to insult Helena like that??? she should better look into the mirror and have alook at all the bad rhings she did deliberately to hurt people, she hurt Helena and she hurt Bette, now is that something to be proud of??? I guess not. I hope Bette is strong enough to keep her off and to see through her intentions this time.
i agree with darkhawk, and phew! tina is showing her evil side again, i’m glad bette is resisting. resist the dark side! use the force bette! picture helena in a tiny bikini, all chained up and waiting to be rescued and use la force! smote that evil tina…or stand by and let luke do it. maybe alice could be luke, but then that would make helena her sister, which is fine. alice was great in this chapter. except for the whore comment, me thinks that was just envy. hehe. pps!
So if bette is really serious about moving on with helena then why won’t she be honest and tell her what is going with tina? she being completey dishonest. bette did this when she was tina… so the cycle continues… and telling Alice was the biggest mistake to make. bette shouldn’t blam eherself for not being when tina lost the baby. she heading to appt. but attack by that woman.. that miscarriage was no one’s fault… yes they both her each other but they BOTH need to get it all out the open once and for all once that is done then NO more opening the old wounds, move on and be friends, or get back together….tina needs a new approach in dealing with bette, she should be pushing bette she needs to lead her, pushing will only make things worse… but i love the back and forth, very well written… still hoping for tibette. helena gets bored easily look how she was when she was with tina…well if winnie and helena don’t get back together,lol then helena needs someone else other than bette,lol..PPS

This is so Great!!!! Tina, what are we to do with you? The thing’s that woman does to get what she want’s. Bette so needs to tell Helena what going on when she get’s home. Yikes! Bette is playing w/ fire. I like Tina’s confidence and forcefullness in going after what she wants. And who can blame her; it’s Bette Porter after all. Helena better come home quick and get back to that 2-3 times a day schedule or else Bette’s eye may start wandering a little more. I wonder if Tina is righta nd this is just another rebond fling for Bette? I sure hope not b/c Bette and Helena are hot. But Bette does seem to be a chronic relationship wannabe; I mean she kind of jumos from relationship to relationship. Maybe being single for a while wouldn’t be a bad idea b/c then she could f*** Helena, Tina and anyone else she wanted w/ out feeling morally bankrupt. OK, squirl I’m hooked and can’t wait to read what other temptations Tina will lay at Bette’s doorstep. Also when will Bette open up to Helena about what Tina is trying to do? And more importantly will Helena take it as a personal challenge to keep her woman. I have a hunch that Helena is up to the challenge. Let the games begin!!! PPS!
tina should remember, you CAN always go back home, BUT, the resident may be different…so, just let it go…and…..is tina’s behavior now any different than candace…she’s behaving like that which she despises…lonlieness will make you do crazy things…or is it that well being dry…anyway…love the post PPS…and please keep it a BeLena
I just cannot for the LIFE of me figure out where the attraction for Tina is. Even if there were never a Helena, I can’t see Bette being that turned on by that pesky little blonde. And WITH Helena in the picture, is there any other woman who can compare? I don’t think so.
