Chapter 6

“Hey, anybody here? Tina are you here?

From the bedroom,  “Alice, hey, hang on, I’ll be right out.”

Hey, what’cha doing? Catching a few winks while Baby A and were out making big deals with clothiers!

“Alice, we’ll be right out.”

Like a flash of lightning striking Alice, she quietly said, “That was Bette’s voice!”

Alice was just starting to put Angelica on the floor to go to her mommy’s voice, she grabbed her up again.

“Hey Angelica, I think I left something in the car. With that Alice turned in her spot and out the door she went.

“Jesus, I forgot about Alice bringing Angelica back.”  Bette was mortified at the thought that they could have arrive an hour earlier.

“Bette, just get dressed. Alice knows about sex I think.”

Throwing on her shirt and jeans, Tina was out of the bedroom first and standing in the living room when Alice and Angelica came back through the door.

“Hey, Momma T, you look a little rough. Everything OK?” She put Angelica on the floor and Angelica runs to Tina.

Picking Angelica up and giving her a big hug, “Hey baby, did you have a good time with your Auntie Alice?”

“Ummm hah,  in  da   car.”

“Yeah, you went with Aunt Alice in her car. Did you have fun?”

“Umm hah.”

Bette walks into the living room, “Momma” Angelica stretches her arms over Tina’s shoulder reaching out to Bette.

Bette takes Angelica from Tina’s arms and hugs her, “Momma missed you. I love you. How is my sweet baby?

“You just totally got laid! Alice looking at Bette with an affirmative nod.

Bette, trying to cover Angelica’s ears.  “Alice!”

“Whoa, sorry. Oh my God! What’s going on?” There was excited anticipation of the answer.

“Alice, slow down. Please don’t say that again.” Tina looks at Alice with the, if you say it again I will kill you look.

“OK so…………..”

“Alice I just got home from New York, I’m a bit tired  ……”

“Yeah, you look like it!  You look like hell! I mean you look like you ……”
