    A day with friends …

    They stay cuddled up on the beach for the next two hours.  Finally Bette glances at her watch.

     

    “Would you believe it’s 1am?”

     

    “No.  But I am kind of tired.  You ready to go?” Tina asks.

     

    “Yeah.  Let’s go home babe.”  Bette smiles wide at her.  “To our home.”

     

    Tina relishes the words Bette said.  She stands and takes Bette’s hand to pull her up.  “Yes baby, let’s go home.”

     

    They kiss quickly before gathering up all their belongings.

     

     

     

    When they arrive home, Sam greets them at the door.  Tina speaks to him first.

     

    “Hi Sammy.  We’re home.  Did you agree with Bette that I could move in here?”

     

    Sam barks accordingly.

     

    “Ahhh thanks.”

     

    Sam barks again, this time almost howling.

     

    “I love you too Sammy.”  Tina pets him and rubs between his ears.

     

    The girls put things away and climb into bed a few minutes later.  Bette has been really sappy and emotional since Tina agreed to move in. 

     

    “Are you okay baby?”

     

    “I’m great T, things couldn’t be better.”  Bette smiles at her and pulls her in close.  They snuggle together and fall asleep moments later, both with very contented smiles on their faces.

     

     

     

    The light coming in through the window woke Tina up the next morning.  She reached for Bette and not finding her, opened her eyes completely.  Where are you Bette?  I really hate waking up alone.  Tina’s thoughts are interrupted by the bedroom door opening, revealing Bette carrying a breakfast tray.

     

    When Bette saw that Tina was already awake her smile faded. 

     

    Tina saw this and reacted.  “What’s wrong baby?”

     

    “I wanted to surprise you with breakfast in bed on our first morning of sharing a home,” Bette almost pouted as she explained this.

     

    Tina tries not to giggle at her.  “Bette, I haven’t even moved anything in yet.”

     

    “I know, but you agreed to, so it counts.”

     

    Tina smiled at her.  “Come here baby.  I want a kiss first and then you can serve me breakfast in bed.”

     

    Bette smiles back and obeys Tina’s request.

     

    They kiss and eat breakfast and kiss some more.

    1. This is one of my all time favorite Fanfics I am so glad to see a new post. I love this story and hope you find or make the time to post more often. I know life and family come first always, but we fans would thoroughly enjoy reading this FF more often. Hopefully B&T living together will not be so rtocky after all Bettre is used to living alone and now she has two new people taking up space in her home even trhough she loves them to death it will take some getting used to. PPASAYC :)

    9. I was thinking about you this morning. I’m glad that we have that type of uncommunicative understanding. LOL I missed you and B&T, welcome back. Mini B&T’s running around…..hummmm. Great, now Tina has to worry about “JAWS”. I love this story. PPS

    13. Sweet chapter and so is Hannah. Children will give it to you honestly and not quite understand what they did, of course. Now Tina only has to worry about sharks near Bette when she is on duty. Does anyone have a truck so we can get on with the moving? Thanks for posting.
