"Doesn’t my mom look beautiful?"

"She certainly does. She’ll be by far the most beautiful woman there tonight." Helena smiled and put her arm around Tina’s waist possessively. "We need to get going" . She said, ushering Tina towards the door. "Good night ladies."

Tina hugged and kissed Angie goodnight. "Please be good for your Aunt and don’t talk her to death." Tina said.

Angie gave her mom an innocent smile. "Don’t worry mom, I’ll be good."

"One of , Helena" Angie’s voice stopped Tina and Helena at the door.

"Pardon me?" Helena said, confused.

"My mom, will be one of the most beautiful women there, because my momma B will be absolutely stunning.___And mom," Angie said in the same breath. "Give momma B a kiss for me and tell her I enjoyed our time together last night and I’m sorry I didn’t get to see her before she left this morning."

Tina was shocked, Helena was trying to hide her anger and Kit was simple trying not to laugh.

"You sneaky little devil!" Kit exclaimed , when Tina and Helena left. "I know for certain that Bette wasn’t here last night, because she was with me."

""Yea , but Helena doesn’t know that."

comprehension dawned on Kit and she smiled and hi-five Angie. "You are one sneaky girl,your Aunt Alice would be proud of you.Whatever you’re planning, I’m with you."

"Tina, Helena" Alice said when they entered the room. "I’m glad you made it. Tasha and Bette are not here yet. And Shane is playing D J, Would you like a drink?"

Tina could feel Helena tense at the mention of Bette’s name. She had gone off on Tina in the car, and everything that Tina had said to defend herself , had only come off making her look guilty. So she had kept silent instead. Which came off to Helena as being ignored.

"Nothing for me" they said in unison to Alice’s question. And Tina excused herself to go in search of Shane. Shane was showing Tina how to spin records when she noticed that Tina wasn’t watching her, she was anxiously watching the door and Shane hid a smile.
