    Chapter 39 & 40

    Chapter 39

     

    They had fallen asleep this time Tina was spread out on her stomach and Bette was just trying to stay in Bed and not fall off.

     

    Bette smiled as she looked over to Tina her head felt much better she slowly got out of bed and headed for the bathroom her mouth tasted like crap and she planned on kissing Tina this morning she reached for the mouthwash and rinsed splashed some water on her face and headed back to the bedroom, she slid back into bed got on her side as looked at Tina she looked so peaceful.

     

    Bette reached over and moved some hair away from Tina’s face.

     

    ‘You’re so beautiful’ Bette whispered

     

    Tina smiled

     

    Bette leaned in and Kissed Tina shoulder

     

    “I see your feeling better” Tina mumbled

     

    “Yes, lots” Bette continued to brush Tina’s hair behind her ear.

     

    Tina shifted so she was now laying on her side they looked into each eyes enjoying this moment of being together.

     

    “Did we really agree to try again or was I dreaming?” Bette asked softly

     

    “No you weren’t dreaming” Tina smiled as she reached over and caressed Bette’s cheek with her finger.

     

    Bette leaned in slowly she leaned in and kissed Tina’s lips.

     

    “Mmm, minty” Tina said

     

    Bette smiled she moved closer, Bette lifted Tina’s arm and snuggled closer into Tina resting her head on her chest she wrapped her arm around Tina’s back and brought her as close as possible, Tina rested her chin on top of Bette’s head they both let out a breath.

     

    Tina was amazed at the way their bodies fit perfectly as if they were made for the other, this felt so right, so good.

     

    After a while Tina was the first to pull away, Bette held her tighter refusing to let her break their embrace.

     

    “Nooo” Bette protested

     

    Tina could hear the grogginess in Bette’s voice.

     

    “Were you falling asleep again?”

     

    “Uh huh, Bette snuggled closer”

     

    “You do realize it’s past noon, and we have to get up eventually?”

     

    “Why” Bette mumbled

     

    “Because…last night you had us all worried, we should stop by the planet and talk to Kit and the girls we need to let them know your ok, and maybe tell them we’re back together”

    7. Fantastic chapter. While Bette was having second thoughts about leaving her job at the DA’s office, I’m sure Melvin was somewhere licking his chops having thwarted her efforts to secure an office building for gallery and other interests. His parting shot when he left her a couple chapters ago was “good luck.” As though he knew what was going to happen to her. I hope she can find someplace very soon and tell him to have someone else followed and to “F” off. Hopefully my sense of dread is very misplaced but I don’t think so. Melvin is a stubborn and vengeful ass and he wouldn’t think twice about hurting Bette if he got to do what he wants and that is to seek office. Hope I’m wrong about all this. Thanks for a fantastic chapter.

    10. Hi Iluvmuzic, I love this story of Btte and Tina tore apart and now reuniting. This addition was magical as Bette’s insecuries overtook her and she headed to her soul-mate.Tina was there, ready and able to calm Bette’s fears and make everything alright with the world.Bette and Tina’s first night together was magical.I can’t wait to read more.Thank you for this marvellous adventure.Your Loyal Fan.
