Alice arrives to work and sits at her messy desk…Papers begin to fall to the floor as she picks them up…

Alison: Alice you have a call on line 2

Alice: Thanks can you take a message?

Alison: The person said that it was urgent

Alice: Ok thanks

Alison: No problem

Alice picks the papers up from the floor and places them back on the desk…She takes the call

Alice: L..A. magazine Alice Piezecki speaking how can I help you?

Gabby: I thought that you were avoiding me

Alice: No Gabby how could I do such a thing

Gabby: I don’t know why don’t you tell me why you haven’t called

Alice: Because I was busy. I work you know

Gabby: Yeah but not all the time. So what are doing tonight?

Alice: Well I have a meeting later until 6 but I’m free after that

Gabby: How about we go to my place afterwards. I’ll make it worth you wait

Alice smiles over the phone

Alice: What time?

Ganny: About 7:30 or 8. Whatever is best for you

Alice: 8 will be great. I’ll see you then

Gabby: Bette sooner than later

Gabby ends the call…Alice sits at the desk with the phone still in her hand…

Tina: Are you going to hang that up?

Alice looks towards the door and she smiles from embarassment

Alice: Yeah I was right now to be exact

Alice fixes her messy hair and her outfit

Alice: So Tina how can I help you?

Tina: You wanted to see my profolio didn’t you?

Alice thinks for a moment

Alice: Oh yeah I totally forgot. I’m sorry please come in and have a seat

Tina: Thank you

Tina have a seat in the chair in front of Alice’s desk

Tina: Here you go

Alice: Thanks

Alice looks the pictures over and hands them back to Tina

Tina: So what do you think?

Alice: They are marvelous. You have an eye you know

Tina: I know. Otherwise I wouldn’t be taking them

Alice smiles at Tina…Tina sees the nervousness in her finger tips

Tina: Are you ok?

Alice: I am. I just got in and I’m still half asleep
