6 years after. How it all went…a step into the future

Alice walked fast in exhitement as she looked at the cosy white house in front of her. “Al, will you help me with my bag?”. Alice turned around to Dana who were fighting with her bag to keep it closed, though a couple of panties had sneaked out on the left side. Alice streched her arm out and rang the doorbell. “God. Can you belive it`s been almost 2 years?” She expected Dana to be beside her by now, but Dana were like a 100 meters behind her, still having problems with her bag.
The door opened, and the smell of fresh cafee hit her. And suddanly, there she was. She was standing with the same familiar attitude as always. Still the same shabby clothes. Still the messy hair. Still the young face with the most characteristic charming smile. “Alice!! God it`s good to see you!” Shane opened her arms and hugged Alice while she jokingly wrapped her legs around her waist. “It`s been so long! How`d you guys been?” Shane asked in ecstasy. Alice had tears in her eyes, she didden`t quite know what to say, It felt so good to see Shane again. “Hi Dana!” Shane ran down the doorsteps to give Dana a big hug and help her with the bag. “Come on in” Shane invited.

Alice and Dana placed their bags in the corner of the hall. Helen came out of the kitchen to greet them. “Hi guys! How is our Spanish friends doing these days?” She pulled both Dana and Alice into a hug. “Oh my god. You look so tan. I too want to live in Spain” Helen joked and kissed Shane on the lips. Dana and Alice smiled at each other with a aww-their-so-cute-together expression. They could both see that the love was as strong as ever between Shane and Helen.
“You want some cafe? Anything else?” Shane asked as she walked into the kitchen. “Yes. Cofee please” Alice and Dana answered, thinking that cofee was so typical Shane. Always cofee. “Somethings never changes” Alice whispered and smiled for herself.
Helen, Alice and Dana sat down in the couch in the living room. “Oh I love what you`ve been doing with this place” Alice said amazed. The room had bright and clear colours, and the sun was shining trough the windows. It looked just like in an all is clean in this family-soap commerial, that Alice normally woulden`t be admiring, but this she loved. It wasen`t boring cause the room where definitly inspired by Shanes style.
