    Chapter 60 – Wanting Something More

    I know you feel the same pull that I do. Bette do we want to talk now or enjoy the time that God has graced us with? Tina says in a soft whisper that fell across Bettes cheeks as she moved closer to hear the words. Bette was so close to Tinas neck that Tina could feel the air move with Bettes sharp intake of air at this question.

    After waiting for Bettes response and not getting anymore movement from Bette, Tina pulled back to see what her hesitation was. The look on Bettes face was one of a lost soul who has found their home after a long search. One look into those eyes was all the Tina needed to take the decision right out of Bettes hand and into fate. Oh God Bette, I love you was all that she whispered after that as Tina once again took charge of making sure Bette knew the depth of her feeling.

    Chapter 60 – Wanting Something More

    Bette heard Tinas whisper of abiding love. That sweet sound of her voice, the message she was saying along with the pressure of Tinas lips on Bettes demanding entrance. All of these factors together combined to break through any hesitation that Bette felt. In the back of Bettes mind where the thoughts that this wasnt right just yet, that they needed to slow down as Anna was just in the other room, that they needed to slow down and talk. They had so much to talk about didnt they? They need to start to rebuild the trust. Bette wanted to explain the changes in herself. At least she wanted to assure Tina the she wanted to get to a new place. All these thoughts were pushed to the side as Tina began her assault overwhelming Bettes senses. The overriding feeling was the euphoria for Bette that emanated from the pit of her stomach and radiated out to every extremity as the feel of Tinas body molded next to hers was blotting out any rational thought. Bette was trying to fight for control as this could be dangerous but was quickly loosing the battle.

      Let me count the ways…
      Please don’t let Anna be missing or in jeopardy in any way. I’m glad Bette is the one exercising caution, cognizant of her parental responsibilities, wanting to go slow. This leaves Tina to be the impulsive passionate one – both rather playing against established type!
      Thanks for another chapter!

OK so where was I. oh yea copy and paste so when this thing hiding in the server eats me again i’ll have what I wrote. Yea that’s it.. OK ctl=V. WAHHOOOO Only 12 times to read tonight. Pouting. I’m taking my crash dumby self to bed and read. Night (waving) JWET. sweet dream. I love this and you know I do. :)

    3. I am with techgal – I hate this new paging system. Grrrrrrrrrrrrr. The story is progressing wonderfully. I wonder if Bette will ever tell Tina about the foundation.

Think I have to give this thing a rest for a few….I can’t enjoy my reading with all the error messages I keep getting when I try to upload the next page…oh how i miss the good ol’ days! but do keep writing Jwet!

      WOW! Awesome display of relating emotions, self control and lack there of. Love the complexity and layers you peel away.

      If we realized how close we could be to logging on and finding the site gone…I wonder how frustrating these current issues would be to us?

    9. I don’t comment much but i love the story. However i just started reading it a few chapters ago and with all the new system problems i haven’t had the chance to go back and read the story from ch.1 so can someone please tell me exactly what IS bette’s involvement with the foundation????

    10. Love this post Jwet. I was about to go to sleep and saw your post and had to read it. I really like where you’re going with this story. I’m glad to see that Bette is cautious about the direction that her new relationship is going and wants to ensure that she make the right decisions, so she and Tina can build a new stronger, more open relationship. Thank you Jwet, you’re still my favorite but OCD is giving you a run for the money (maybe it is because she post so many tymes). Hey I have 8 months to go before I get a real Bette and Tina fix so I guess there can be room and tyme for several favorites [Oh if you’re reading, I love your stories too Rebakathy and Keno (pleeeease posts soon)!]

      Okay maybe it’s just me, but why is everyone assuming that something is wrong with Anna. The story specifies that Bette put her to bed and then… “Once they reached the patio…Bette placed the baby monitor down on the side table she turned to Tina behind her.” In addition, while ensuring Anna was safely asleep inside, Bette and Tina went outside and were so absorded into each other that “neither of them hear[d] Shane and Irene as they entered crossing over the backyard fence.” — ‘BACKYARD FENCE’ being the key words here. Shane and Irene are probably just asking an innocent question ( “Hey you guys. Where’s Anna?”” )
      because like most people without kids, we assume parents should always be with the kids (if they wanted privacy or independence, they wouldn’t of had kids :)

    11. I’m with luv4nrt, she is in the house, I don’t think J is that mean. So chapter 61 next right isn’t when we found out about Irene?? God I’m glad bette is just wanting to talk, it must be painful not to give in to tina, I would jump her in a heartbeat. Ok almost missed this just got home for a very good/drunk night at friends house. took forever to read with these pages.

      Jwet, you continue to paint such a nice picture of Bette and Tina. I was hoping you had Tina run and grab a camera to take a picture of Bette rocking Anna to sleep. I can see it in my mind!

Oh yeah, and also – please people, what on earth in this chapter has made anyone think that something has happened to Anna, I’m with “luv4nrt” on what she has written – it states precisely where Anna is – IN BED, it also states that Bette has the monitor – BESIDE HER! I know I’m fickle, but please – why read into something that isn’t there – isn’t there enough drama in life already that we don’t have to make some up and then some! Yeah I know, ok – very fickle!! LOL

    17. The communication is good I still think Bette needs to tell Tina about the foundation before someone else does. At the moment she’s in abit of limbo, wanting Tina and Anna but scared she’ll lose them.

This has got be to only one of my absolute favourte stories, so much depth and feeling, from all parties – you are able to capture each person’s deep traits and thoughts and allow them to precisely process them. We all have our own interpretation on how we believe these tv characters think and feel but I believe you are one of the very few author’s on this site who consistently capture every emotion in such superb detail. And I just luuuurrrvvee this Super Cool, Super Sexy, Super Considerate, Oh So Hot Bette. God I love that woman! Great job mate.

      Such open, direct and emotional communication between Bette and Tina put a genuine smile on my face. I revere the way you create such depth of feelings with apparent simplicity.
      Bette as the reluctant and wary party is a great paradox against the show while Tina gently cajoles and convinces her that this is the only way forward from them. Magic, pure unadulterated magic, is how I would describe this chapter.
      Today’s pop quiz:
      Will Wal-Mart develop Tina’s mental pictures? Where does Alice get her impeccable timing from? Has Shane been raiding Harry Potter’s closet for his invisibility cloak? Will we find out what is going on between Shane and Irene? Cherry stone spitting, bare back horse riding?
