Chapter 44 – Communication
Yes lets date! Bette says as she is quickly catching up with Tina. This conversation was happening so fast that Bette couldnt get all the details processed as fast as Tina was getting to the bottom line. Yes there were lots of questions and issues but they all seemed to be bypassed for today. But Bette knew without any doubt that if Tina thought they had an opportunity to spend time together then she was going to simply go for it.
Tina just smiled at the eagerness that Bette agreed to date. There was a certain child-like innocence to Bettes excitement that made Tina laugh a happy little laugh that relieved the tension she had felt concerning this entire subject. Hearing Tinas laugh Bette herself joined in with a laugh of her own as she could see the happiness in Tinas eyes.
Tina and Bette finally looked at each other with the openness that had been missing for so long. The shutters which had been blocking out the light from their eyes were now removed so that each could see the others soul. With the time seeming to be standing still Tina slowly reached across put her open hand on the table never letting her eyes stray from Bettes. Bette instinctively reached out and put her hand in Tinas completing the bond that they both felt. Just sitting there holding hands with their heads bowed close together is all the outside world could see but to Tina and Bette their flow of communication was telling each of them all they needed to know for now. This could work and they had a chance.
You know I have been a nervous wreck about having this discussion. Im just so glad that we are finally here to have it. Tina says as she looks at Bette. So Miss Porter now that we have the little stuff out of the way now to the harder things like what night would you like to go out on Friday or Saturday?
Well Miss Associate Director I am available anytime you say just say. Bette says feeling lighter of spirit than she had felt in oh so long.

ooooh, I’m so excited. Bette and Tina are going out. Bette and Helena are going to duke it out. OOOooo, I can’t wait to find out what happens next.
I wonder what Mrs. Porter has in store for Mrs. Peabody. Loving it!!
Oh, poor Alice. I like her, I really do. She always has good intentions, but it just backfires on her. I don’t worry for her because both Bette and Tina loves her.

Woo-hoo…B&T dating, lovin’ the connection that’s slowly rebuilding between our two leading ladies=) Alice just doesn’t quit…once she discovers and reveals the truth, I wonder what everyone’s reaction will be…especially Tina…I hope this doesn’t cause any glitches in their reunion! Lovin’ it Jwet!
P.S. Oh yeah, I so do love it when Tina’s on a roll!

Finally had some time to catch up. Can’t believe I got behind 7 whole chapters. They were all great. Can’t wait for Bette to take down Helena!

Hmmm…I have to agree with hunty. Ms. Peabody seems to have gone too far this time. Now we’ll get to see Bette be her old self, if only for a minute?
Bette’s got her answer via Tina. Tina, we’ll have to see how she handles her answer. And Alice becomes Cassandra. Oh, then there’s Helena the pariah. Lots to look forward to for the next 7 or 8 installments.
As hard as it is for me to type with a broken elbow/arm I have to tell you how much I love this. Even if it takes me longer. I am so obsessed with this story that my withdrawl when it ends will be worse than the show.
