    Chapter 21 Au Pair Picking

    Tina had just finished straightening up the house in preparation for Miss Jentrys visit. Just as she was about to check on Anna as she hears her beginning to make noises, Tina sees Shane coming through the back. As Shane makes her way up to the house she is trying to quiet her fears. Now that she is actually on a mission she just isnt as certain as she was last night about helping Bette. Taking a deep breath she knocks on the French doors before making her way into the house.

    Tina opening the door waved Shane in as she quickly made her way to the now wailing Anna. Shane theres coffee help yourself I wont be a minute.

    Shane poured herself a mug and sat down in the living room, which was where Tina found her as she came back with a now smiling Anna.

    Handing Anna to Shane as she sits down Shane what brings you by this morning? Tina asks.

    Well arent you choosing your au pair today? I told you I would help. If nothing else I can entertain this little one as you are involved with whats her name. Shane says as she tickles Anna and is rewarded with a smile and a gurgle.

    Oh, Shane thats sweet. Really well thats great. OK. Miss Jentry should be here soon and ..well great. Im sure Anna will love her Aunt Shane watching her. Tina accepts Shanes offer. Im surprised youre up this early. It sounded like you had quite the party last night. Tina says.

    Augh yeah, well I just had a few girls over to watch the games, you know the March Madness thing. Hey youre not into basketball are you? Im sorry I should have invited you Tina Im sorry. Shane says now feeling a little awkward.

    No, no Shane that was Bettes thing. I did notice her car though. Do you see a lot of Bette? Tina now thought she would take advantage of this conversation and find out a little more about Bette and if she said anything about yesterday.
