"On second thought." Helena blinked "I’ll have the spinach and Swiss cheese omelet, whole meal toast and coffee. Once the orders were taken and the waitress left the group waited for the announcement that everyone now figured out was coming.
"I’m pregnant." Bette announced reaching for Tina’s hand. "We are expecting a baby girl in a little over seven months. Dr. Wilson confirmed it yesterday."
"That’s great guys." Shane toasted them with her coffee.
"Isn’t it a little soon?" Kit questioned concerned about her sister’s health. "Rowan is not yet a year old."
"It’s fine." Tina replied understanding Kit’s concern. Bette’s pregnancy with Rowan was difficult for a number of reasons. "I’ll be by her side every step of the way."
"By her side is not how she got in this state." Alice quipped. "I’m not sure you can be trusted." Alice was a little put out that she wasn’t the first to know this time. "Still you made an honest woman of her so I suppose it’s your prerogative." Running out of steam she remembered the good news. "Congratulations." She offered, belatedly. She felt there was more to the story but with these two it could be some time before she was privy to it all if ever. She studied them pensively. "You used Marcus’ sperm again." Not waiting for an answer she pressed on. "God how long does that stuff last?"
"New donor." Bette smiled. "I couldn’t have gotten a closer match to what I was looking for this time."
Bette’s apparent self-centeredness was grating on Helena’s nerves. What she was looking for indeed. What about Tina? Ms. Sanctimonious seemed unconcerned about Tina’s needs. "What about you Tina?" Helena asked some of her irritation evident in her tone. "Are you satisfied with the new donor? Does he meet you specifications?"
Bette glanced at her sharply. Did Helena just overstep the bounds Bette had set for her? Did she just question her attentiveness to Tina’s needs? It was implicit in the tone and comment.
Feeling Bette tense beside her, Tina laced her fingers through Bette’s. "I am extremely happy with the donor we used this time."
"Do tell." Leigh was intrigued and saw that Bette was about to skewer her lover if Helena wasn’t careful.
"If I tell you, I’ll have to kill you." Tina said without a trace of humor.

Wow three posts in one day.I can’t even get just one chapter written. Helena better watch herself or Bette is going to ring her clock.
T^hree posts in one day, just marvelous. And the statement from,…the feathers hanging out of Tina’s mouth..” LOVE IT. Please don’t end it yet, let us see the birth and the uncanny resemblance to Tina that this baby will have. It will look as though eigher one of them spit the baby out. And you just can not tell Alice what happened. I think Kit and Shane will need to know how this happened because they have the tightest lips of anyone in WeHo and would not tell even if their lives depended on it. Kit will be so thrilled to have a blood relative from the girls, not just in name only. You have t oget them to Canada to be married legally so that the baby can be totally legal as well. So happy you could do the three posts today. I understand about the writing, when it hits it hits. I have been contemplating leaving my job so that I can devote my time to my books that I have started, I do so want to finish them. Thank you so much for the story and the posts today.PPS

Very good story so far but I wanted your opinion on something. Concerning female sperm. I read that female-to female pregnancy studies have been going on at least since 1996. I wander if babies are already being born in this way and is just being keep secret. I noticed that recent talks report female to female pregnancy studies as something new when infact the studies have been going on for some time.

Hello Kelika, Thank you for such a amazing conception night. Bette and Tina are just so in the zone together. I love the passion and desire that this evening’s events brought out in them both. Having broken up and moved on they each know that they belong and are best as a partnership. Some things in life are constant and their love is one. Rosanna does have a piece of Bette’s heart but Tina holds in all. Then telling the gals was funny. Typical of Alice to be in their faces as to the donor. Loved Tina going all marine “I’ll have to kill you.” If only… Thanks for this wonderful stroy. Your Loyal Fan.

K-finally caught up to your fantastic story. love love love it! Great job! the last couple of chapters were too hot for words, but this was awesome. i loved Tina’s confidance, i think it was something that was always lacking in regards to Bette. And Helena is too funny…IF Tina and Bette confide in anyone, it will be interesting how people react. BUT i truely hope everyone will know upon seeing the little lulu…i’m mean obviously the little girl will have features of Bette AND Tina so that will be awesome…that will be the next story you start after this right?? (pleeeease!!)
“I’m having whatever she is having.” “She’s not on the menu.” Terrific dialogue! I also loved swaggering Alpha Tina, the Helena/Bette tension, and Alice’s Alice-like reaction to the baby news.
Nearly the end, u say, nearly the end, tut tut how can u do that and take the day off work? Musta been the day for it, I played truant for half a day…more, I love it.
I’m feeling a bit light-headed, perhaps even love drunk after reading your last six posts all at once. The insemination chapter left me looking for a cigarette… and I don’t smoke. As I’ve said before, your love scenes are to be savored. My only disappointment was with your statement that the story is almost over… that was a buzz kill!!
the last line was funny because since they have to keep it a secret, tina would kill LOL…*hurray* for another girl, do you have a name yet?
Boy, I really did fall behind this time. I am excited that Tina was able to impregnant Bette. This time the baby girl is from both of them. Will they ever tell the gang that it was Tina’s female sperm that did the deed and that she is truly the mom-dad?
