It was a perfectly normal pregnancy. Bette gained the necessary weight, the labs and sonograms were perfectly normal. A home birth was planned. There was no outward indication that this birth was anything momentous. Only Bette, Tina and Dr. Wilson knew the full story.
Bette and Tina got to enjoy the process in a way they had not with Angelica and Rowan. There was nothing to mar their joy. Bette reveled in being pregnant with their child knowing that the life that grew within her was a product of the love she and Tina shared and she loved the sense of completeness that it gave her. Tina was awed at the miracle of creation from this unique vantage point that her sperm had provided the spark for this new life.
Tina found Bette incredibly sexy as her body swelled. She was turned on when Bette was pregnant with Rosanna’s child, now she found herself in a constant state of desire. Bette’s ripe breasts, her womb full of their babe, left her wet and yearning every time she looked at her and every time she touched her. Bette gave her hormones free reign and they loved more intensely than she imagined possible. It was already hot between them now it was an inferno. They delighted in one another.
Angelica while surprised was pleased to find out that she would have a baby sister. Rowan though he did not really understand would rub Bette’s belly and say ‘baby’.
“I was wondering” Tina said one day as they lay in bed after a particularly explosive love session “about our new daughter’s name. What to you think of her being a Porter-Kennard?”
“As opposed to Kennard-Porter?” Bette’s eyebrow rose at this suggestion. “We agreed with Rowan that we would all be Kennard-Porter.” The truth be told she was pleased that they all ultimately carried her family name.
“Yeah, that was before I took your place in the alpha department.” Tina said smugly.
“Before you what?” Bette sputtered.
“Seems to me you have this barefoot and pregnant thing down pat now.” Tina offered half in jest. “I have no problem it seems stepping up.” She looked pointedly at Bette’s swollen belly. “I kind of like the view up here.”
“Do you now?” Bette smiled slowly. There were some definite advantages to her current position. “You look good up there.”
She reached for her and sighed as she gave herself surrendering yet again to this all consuming love.
Bette pushed for the final time. She felt the baby slide from her body. Tina caught her with trembling hands. Tina cut the cord and cleaned her as the midwife directed her. Finally she presented her to her mother.
“Babe…you do beautiful work” Tina beamed. She placed the long legged newborn in her mother’s arms. Tina climbed in beside her unable to tear her eyes from the two of them.
“She’s really here” Bette exclaimed tears of wonder filled her eyes. The babe stretched and then opened her eyes. Hazel eyes the exact color of Tina’s slowly surveyed the two of them. “Hello, Laurel.” Bette cooed.
I could sign my name on a card which could say it better…It seems to me that I’ve done just about all that I can do…I want to be living…for the love of you. All that I’m giving is for the love of you… (Isley Brothers)

This was an excellent story and I loved every minute of it. Tha name was perfect, and I nearly jumped off the bed when I read the name. I can see Tina grinning. Hell, I would be grining too. Sequel, sequel, sequel. We’re waiting, however long it takes to come back after a rest. Loved it. Thank you. PPS
Hey, I might not be last this time. I hope that one day this can actually happen. To me it does not matter who the mommy or daddy is as long as they are apart of the child. In this case you chose Tina to be the female sperm donor, it could have been the other way but what does matter is that baby Laurel shares both her mothers’ DNA. Oh by the way, I love the baby’s name.
Oh come on now what about the rest of the gang finding out that B&T conceived a child together genetically. The look on Alice face would be priceless. Also if you continued there would be so much drama among the kids that could keep us enterntained for months. Pretty please, such a tease. Great story
