Tina pushed Bette up against her front door and continued her assault on Bettes lips. Bette was kissing back just as furiously. Just going along for the ride, Bette thought to herself.
Tina moved her hands under Bettes silk shirt, feeling her bare back muscles tense at the sensation of Tinas touch, Bette let out a moan..she moved her hands onto Tinas firm ***** and pulled Tina in closer.

Then Tina stopped, just as abruptly as she started.
Both women were breathing erratically.

Tina was staring intently into Bettes eyes trying to decipher her conflicted thoughts. (Im waiting till its right, thats what Im waiting for.)
Tina shook her head, No, to soon she decided.
Bette noticed the intense look on her face.

Bette: (a little breathless) Tina, are you ok?

Tina: (putting her arms back around Bettes neck)Yeah, sorry about that Bette, it was supposed to be just a good night kiss but I guess I got carried away.

Bette: You can get carried away anytime you like.

Tina: I just cant seem to keep my hands (or lips) off you.

Bette: Well thats always a good thing, dont worry Tee, well know when the time is right, and in the meantime lets have fun getting to know each other.

Tee I like that, Tina thinks.
Tina: Sounds like a good plan to me!!

Bette: Tina I really would like to see you again.

Tina: I would love to, too babe, Im on arvo shift till next Saturday, but maybe next Saturday night. What do you think?

Bette:(smiling), Not till next Sat, huh that job of yours is going to kill us isnt it?

Tina: (smiling too) If it wasnt for that job of mine, we never wouldve met!!!

Bette: True, Ok, I cannot argue with that.

Bette: Well if you arent too tired after your shift during the week I would love for you to call me when you get home, if you want, I would love for your voice to be the last thing I hear before I go to sleep. It doesnt matter what time.

Tina: That would be great, Ok I will.

Bette: Then well also discuss meeting arrangements, the sooner the better, as far as Im concerned.

Tina pulled Bette in close and whispered. OkI dont believe Im not going to see you for a whole week.

Bette: How about we try that goodnight kiss again?, leaning in to kiss Tina.

Tenderly their lips met for the sweetest goodnight kiss that either one could imagine.

Bette: Goodnight Tee, sweet dreams
Tina: Goodnight babe.

For the next week Tina would ring Bette when she got home from work. She felt bad for ringing so late, it was always after midnight, but Bette assured her it was ok. Tina had to admit; it was nice hearing Bettes voice as the last thing before she went to sleep. Bette felt exactly the same way.

The week passed by fairly quickly and it was Saturday night. Tina had made plans to see Bette tonight.
Tina got home just after midnight. She was exhausted; she had been working 6 days straight. She had a shower, put on some tracksuit pants and a white t- shirt and grabbed the phone to call Bette.

Initially she rang Bette, intending to reschedule their date tonight. Tina didnt think she would be very good company.

RING, RING, RING,

Bette: (excitedly)Hello Tee.

Tina: Hey Babe,.. would you mind if we.. dont go out tonight. After Tina heard Bettes voice, she knew she had to see her.

Bette: (now very disappointed) What? Bette was looking forward to going out with Tina tonight; she hadnt seen her all week. She started to feel a little angry, Tina!!

But before she could say anything else Tina interrupted, I mean, can you come over to my place instead. Im really exhausted but I need to see you.. and Im not up to going out. And if I accidentally fall asleep on you, at least Ill be in my own house Tina said smiling.

Bette: (very relieved) Ok, sure. What do you want me to bring, anything?

Tina: Babe, all I want for you to bring is you really, but maybe you could pick up some pizza and a movie, I am starving, had no time for dinner.

Bette: Ok Tee, Ill be there in 30 minutes.

Tina: Ok bye babe, see you soon

Bette: Ok bye.

Bette changed into a pair of jeans and a white wife beater top and was out the door.
She picked up a Pepperoni pizza and a few movies on the way and was standing at Tinas door half an hour later.

Bette knocked and a visibly exhausted Tina answered the door. As soon as Tina saw Bette a huge smile lit up her face.

Tina: Hey you, get in here. Tina pulled Bette inside and gave her a hug and a tender kiss on the lips. I missed you babe

Bette: Hi Tee, I missed you too.

Tina: Lets eat Im starving.

They ate the pizza and talked about their weeks and how it was nice to speak to each other before they went to sleep each night.
They then decided to watch one of the movies. They decided on The Day after Tomorrow, the drama might keep them awake a bit longer. Tina put the movie in the player.
Bette sat down on the couch. Tina went over and lay down with her head on Bettes lap.

Is this ok?, she asked looking up into Bettes mesmerizing chocolate brown eyes.

Bette: Sure you just relax and watch the movie.

Bette ran her hands through Tinas hair. Tina let out a contented, mmm

By the time the movie was finished they were both asleep.


The sun was streaming through the window and Tina was first to wake. Bettes head was thrown back on the couch causing her to snore, which woke Tina up.
Bette felt Tina move and woke up herself.

Bette: Owww, sore neck.

Tina: Babe, let me rub that for you. Tina started rubbing Bettes shoulders and neck

Bette: (smiling) Mmmmm. thats better. I could get used to that looking up at Tina.

Bette: Good morning Tee giving her a kiss.

Tina: Good morning babe.

Bette: I guess we fell asleep?

Tina: (smiling)Yeah sorry you slept awkwardly. You know you were snoring?

Bette: I was not!!!!!!!!! Bette gave Tina a mortified look.

Tina:(laughing) You couldve woken up the whole neighborhood.
Bette swatted Tina on the arm

Bette: How about we go get some breakfast.

Tina: Yeah sounds good, you can go clean up if you want. Theres a spare toothbrush in the second draw and towels in the cabinet below the sink. Ill just go change.

Bette jumped off the couch, Thanks Tee, I wont be long.

Tina and Bette grabbed some breakfast and spent most of the day together. They wandered around L.A., did a bit of shopping, and spent some time in the park talking.

It got late in the evening and Bette needed to go home and check on her kitchen. She walked Tina back to her place and gave her a slow, sensual kiss goodnight. Tina pulled Bette in closer and parted her lips, encouraging their tongues to meet; soon their tongues were entangled with each others. Again breathing became an issue and both women pulled away from the kiss.

Bette: Goodnight Tee, I had a great time, I will call you before I go to sleep, ok.

Tina: Youd better. I had a great time too. Bye babe, Ill talk to you later then.

Bette got in her car and headed over to her apartment to meet Shane. When she arrived Shane was waiting out the front.

Bette: Hi Shane.

Shane: Hey Bette.

Bette: So hows it all going? When can I move back home?

Shane: I think you better come inside and sit down.

Bette: (nervously)Alright Shane whats going on??

Shane: Ummits going to be an extra 2 weeks. The tiles you wanted from Italy are stuck on the docks, something about customs. I cannot get them for 2 weeks.

Bette was on such a high from spending the day with Tina that she wasnt really fazed by this information. Nothing was going to spoil her mood.

Bette: Alright Shane, you say an extra 2 weeks, Ok, but I expect there to be no more delays, understood?

Shane: (surprised) Huhyes Bette, I can assure you, no more delays! Shane expected much more of a reaction from Bette.

Bette: Ok then, Ill leave you to it. Thanks Shane.

Bette got back in her car and headed to Kits leaving a totally dumbstruck Shane standing out the front of her house. Well that went better than I couldve imagined thought a very relieved Shane..
