“Bette, lets go.” Tina said a she was putting her shoes on. “She has got to be the slowest woman on earth” muttered Tina. “Hey, I can hear even when your muttering to youself ya know,”Bette laughed. “Honey I just don’t want to be late. You know how AJ is when we aren’t on time” Tina sighed, ” this is really super important to her. I don’t want to mess this up for her.” ” I know sweetie she gets that quality from you remember. Anyways I just talked to her and Jason is running late so we won’t be the last ones there, okay.” Tina looked at her wife and rolled her eyes. ” You know damn well that doesn’t matter. If she sees us sneaking in she is going to ream us when it is over.” “T, baby I love you but you are so wound up all the time. Calm down. If we are late Alice and Dana can stand in for us.” “Oh, ***** NO! As much as I love Alice and Dana they are not standing in for us at OUR daughter’s wedding rehearsal! Don’t even think for a second that this is funny!” Bette looked at Tina and flashed that million dollar Porter smile.” T, if we keep arguing like this we will never get there. I didn’t really mean that Alice and Dana would stand in for us, it was just a thought.” As she looked at Bette she couldn’t help but remember all those years ago when she had almost lost the only person that meant anything to her. Tina sighed, ” I know baby but I just want this to be special for AJ, Bette our baby is all grown up and is getting married tomorrow.” Tina’s eyes began to water at the thought of their oldest daughter getting married. Again she thought about how everything had come full circle for Bette and her. She couldn’t imagine her life without Bette and the kids, but at one point almost left it all behind because she thought that she was falling out of love with the one person she was meant to love.
