“She’s in the kitchen.” she said as she hugged Carmen and Shane. Carmen waved at Alice and proceeded to the kitchen with Shane in tow. She snuck up behind her and said ” well I’ll be damned that Cali girl dun up and domesticated my Lil cousin.” Bette turned to see Carmen standing there with Shane both smiling at her.

“Shit, what da hell y’all doin here?” Bette said hugging the still smiling couple.

“Well we were woken up by a very persistent young lady asking questions bout the whereabouts of best friend, so we told her where to find y’all. And Carmen wanted to spend some time with you as well before you left, so.”

“Well thank you, baby,” Shane nodded as Carmen smiled at her ” there’s that and I wanted to make sure y’all were eating in between all the love making, and I wanted to make sure my house was ok. But I also needed to make sure you signed these papers before you left.” Carmen finished as she held up her briefcase.

“Oh yeah I almost forgot about them. Ok so after breakfast I’ll sign them, but first let me finish breakfast for the beauties in the living room.”

Meanwhile in the living room, “So tell me more bout Bette, every time I talk to you you’re all like “she’s perfect, she’s wonderful” I need something juicy, something solid, come on Tina spill it.”
