“Excuse me.” Bette’s voice took on a decidedly chilly tone.
Helena oblivious that she had ticked off the volatile Porter rushed to explain. “God Bette the dance you two shared at the viewing was scorching. I quaffed down several glasses of champagne to cool down from the pure sensuality of the way you were moving on the dance floor. I didn’t know you could dance like that and that dress, and your claves…
Bette was dumbstruck. She couldn’t believe that Helena of all people was talking about her as desirable.
“Bette was always a good dancer.” Tina interjected quietly.
“Yeah we call her twinkle toes.” Alice threw in to lighten the steamy atmosphere that Helena had inadvertently created.
“So Bette what’s the deal is Helena right is this Rosanna person the donor that you were talking about?” Kit sensed there was more going on than met the eye.
“She is” Bette replied, “and just how do you know Rosanna?” She turned her attention back to Helena.
“Everybody knows Rosanna Montclair in certain circles. She is the quintessential rebel. Her last name was Grace she is an heir of the Grace fortune. She rejected the family fortune, took on her maternal grandmother’s surname and made a name for herself on her own. She actually works for a living or at least she did until the psychotherapy practice she started became an agency. Now she’s the founder and president of the CACMH. Her paternal grandparents were furious and cut her off for a time until they saw her success and dedication for what it is. Her maternal grandmother a wealthy woman in her own right left Rosanna her estate and I believe that Rosanna still lives in the hideously small three bedroom cottage I believe you all call a Tudor in The Hills.”
“Maybe you can bunk with her in her hideously small three bedroom cottage” Alice interjected feeling insulted by Helena’s description of what sounded like a nice house.
Still clueless Helena responded, “Certainly not she loathes me.”
“Why is that?” Bette asked sweetly, liking Rosanna more with this disclosure.

Oh, Tina….don’t do anything stupid or malicious. Use your feminine wiles. You know that Tina is kryptonite to Bette. She is powerless in Tina’s clutches.
Welp, I think this mountain is high enough, the river wide enough, and hopefully the coming passion hot enough to keep T from B. I dunno, Rosanna’s got a big stake in a short time on Tina’s woman. Tina’s got some heavy, heavy making up to do. And then there’s the question of Henry. How’s Tina going to get Bette over that hump? Can she? Does she deserve to? Guess we’ll see, won’t we? (Go Ro!) May the best woman win. Thanks for the chapter, kelika.
I am looking forward to seeing where Bette ends up, staying with Ro or going back to Tina. Either way i hope nobody gets too hurt. Yet another great chap. Thanks, PPS.
Bette and Tina have gone through so much…have hurt each other so much. Sometimes when that happens we need to step away and surround ourselves with people who are not apart of the previous mess. People who can be there for us and help us see just how wonderful and loving we can be. That doesn’t mean that they take the place of the one we truly love. It also doesn’t mean we can’t love them in our own way. I think Rosanna knows her time with Bette is temporary, but is selfless enough to still be there for her in every way she can. It is a generous gift. In my opinion Rosanna is what we call the rebound relationship, but with none of the negative conentations that normally surround that saying. At the end of the day, I think Bette truly does want her family back…and in her heart and mind that will always be Tina. That doesn’t mean she doesn’t have the capasity to love Rosanna for the time they are together, and for the things she brings to her life. It just means that when she thinks of forever it is still Tina’s face she sees. (In my opinion, of course.) LOL Sorry, kind of went off there! You can tell I haven’t written anything in a while!!
oh my lord tina!why dont you start doing little things like before to help remind bette why she loves you…and i pray no one really gets hurt and it all works out for everyone..p.p.s
So Tina is the underdog in this tale. I love to root for the underdog. this should be very interesting. what will tina do. whatever it is, she has to come correct. none of that passive aggressive bs. thanks for the frequent posts. it is appreciated.

Well, I’m glad Ro already knows what she’s getting herself into and she already made her choice to go through the fire if need be. How can type of reasoning not be sexy? LOL. Yes, Tina will fight but she must also understand that Bette is no longer her ‘right’ since she decided to google Henry’s underpants! So I’m all for Ro and Bette, for a good long while. Tina may get back in Bette’s good graces, but it won’t be easy. It can’t be. LOL. Great post and PPS! 8)
Tina may not want to push the issue to fast, because I don’t think Bette ready to get back with Tina as yet. At this time, Tina acting a bit selfish, thinking only about what she wants, and not what Bette may want.
Another Great Chapter!!! I am so with TMAJO on this GO RO!!!! Tina had her chance with Bette and she picked Henry. Tina live with you picked and let Bette be Happy. Yes Bette will always love Tina in some way but I do not think she is still in love with her. GO RO!!! Thanks
