    Drowning 16

    Previously – Really Al, youve been hiding these Betty Crocker talents from us for too long. That was a great dinner. Down to the asparagus.

    Thanks guys. Alice said, So does this mean I dont have to clean up?

    Dana jumped up and took the plates out Alices hands, After that dinner, you definitely dont have to clean. You know the deal, you make me that dinner and I wait on you.

    Alice smiled, Yeah, it is a pretty good deal. Im going to get more wine, anyone else?

    Tina jumped at the chance, Yes please Al. I can use another.

    Are you sure, youve had a few already. I dont want you drunk with Bette. There is no way that can lead to a good thing. Shane said.

    Ill be fine.

    Famous last words. Alice muttered under her breath. But truth be told, they had all had a lot to drink and the night hadnt even started yet.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Alice opened up another bottle of wine and poured some for herself and Tina.
    Shane, another beer?
    Yeah, please Al. Alice walked into the kitchen to get Shane her beer from the fridge. Dana was in there washing the dishes. Alice got caught up staring at her girlfriend, or ex girlfriend. She wasnt quite sure which. But she didnt care about the semantics right now. Dana was all casual tonight. A pair of low rise jeans, very worn, as she had gotten them years ago when they were the style. And they fit her in all the right places. Her shirt was a fitted t shirt. If Alice didnt know her so well, she would have thought that Dana didnt care and just threw on the outfit, but she knew Dana. And more importantly, she knew that Dana knew that this was one of Alices favorite outfits on her. It showed enough to get someone interested, but left the rest to the imagination. And Alice did have an active imagination.
    Alice shook her head as if to break the trance she was in, feeling her cheeks flush. She inwardly cursed the wine she was drinking. Hey Dane, why dont you leave those for later. Go hang out and have fun.
    3. Always nice to have more. Wow…when Bette gets honest, she doesn’t fool around. (But perhaps she maybe will fool around, if you know what I mean.) Looking forward to more, want to see Bette meet Cara. Overall, though, I have a feeling rough waters are ahead in the short term.
