Dream Casting Chptr. 12
Morty roamed the streets trying to hide himself away from Angela. He hoped with all of his heart that no one recognized him through his disguise. There was no way he could find Kit without incurring the wrath of the Gods for attempting to call her out. If he did try she’d be in so much pain that they would swoop down on him immediately before he would he even get the chance to finish calling her. On the other hand, Angela had threatened him with certain torture and death all of which he knew she yearned to do again, especially because it had been so long since she had done it. He could see a look on her face that she desperately wanted to watch his life leave him slowly , she enjoyed watching his breathing sack flap violently searching for air and nearly detach from his body completely. The memory alone made him cringe and shudder with fear. His only option at this point was to find a way to get to Kit and hope that she’d show mercy on him despite his working for Angela throughout the years along side the demons that hunted her.

“Kit you know you’re telling me a whole lot, without actually telling me anything.” Tina was still wary of what Kit wanted from her. Sure she’d already established herself as her Aunt but she still hadn’t fully gained Tina’s trust. Kit’s answers were very vague and evasive at best, nothing really solid enough to relax Tina fully.
“Why are you always so edgy and suspicious of people?”
“Because no one has ever been this nice and not wanted something from me. So what is it that you want from me?”
“I don’t want anything from you Tina. My only desire is to see you through the future as it was told in the prophecies. I am your blood, the very thought that you would think I could use you to further some agenda is offensive.” Kit’s eyes drew down on Tina sitting in a chair staring ahead at the fireplace as it danced with flames. “Good night.” Kit walked off and down the hallway to her bedroom. She knew that Tina had a rough deal in life, she was raised by pure evil and probably didn’t fall into trusting relationships easily, but it was still hard for Kit to accept. She was Tina’s only living connection to her true heritage and she didn’t trust Kit as far she could throw her. It was all very taxing on her mind and body.
