"Well at least let me answer your question." Bette stops walking and so does Tina, but Bette doesn’t turn around.

    "He was the best."

Bette is taken aback by what Tina had just said.

She still had her back facing Tina and she could fell the blood boiling through her veins. She closes her eyes, clenches her fists and breaths in and out. She knew that if she didn’t walk away right now, she wouldn’t be able to control herself.

She swallows hard then continues walking.

"Now look who’s walking away!" Tina says taunting her and walking after her again.

Bette says nothing and continues to walk away even faster.

Tina also speeds up. "Come on! Weren’t you the one who wanted to talk about this!" Tina then quickly steps in front of Bette, making her stop abruptly. "So lets talk about it then!"

Bette clenches her jaw and stares at Tina, fire burning in her eyes. She tries to walk past her, but Tina kept blocking her path.

"Move." Bette says through clenched teeth.

"You wanted to know how it was! So now your gonna listen to what I have to say!"

The anger and frustration was getting harder for Bette to control. "Tina move NOW!" Bette yells loudly causing Tina to flinch, but she doesn’t back down.

"I meet Henry at one of Angie’s swimming lessons-"  Bette doesn’t let her finish and roughly pushes past Tina almost causing her to fall down.

Tina angrily walks after Bette again, tears emerging from her eyes. She couldn’t believe the way Bette had just pushed her. "Don’t you EVER touch me like that again!" Tina reaches Bette and grabs her wrist, spinning her around to face her. "Do you hear me?!"

Bette says nothing and they continue to stare at each other with a mixed emotion of pain and anger. Both of them ready to explode.

"Would you have preferred Henry to be the one to touch you!" Bette knew what Tina had wanted to say, but she was still coping with what Tina had said earlier to her.

Tina was taken aback and just stared at her in disbelief.

Bette turned around and tried to walk away again but abruptly stops after hearing Tina say something that made her lose it.

"I fucked him in our home."

    Bette turns around enraged. "What!"

"Angie was asleep, you were at that silent retreat." Tina says callously.

"How fucking dare you!" This had hurt Bette hard to know that Tina would do something like that in their home.

"Don’t you dare fucking look at me like that! Like if what I did was so below of what you did!

"I didn’t fuck her in OUR home Tina!!"

"I trusted you! We were together for seven fucking years Bette!"

"While Angie was in OUR home!!"

"Well I’m glad I did because it was fucking amazing!" Tina was saying things without thinking and didn’t even know why she was saying them. "He fucked me right up against the door!"

Bette was shocked and beyond angry. "Well we have that in common then!

Tina was confused and Bette decided to clear it up for her. "Well that wasn’t the first place she fucked me, she fucked me in a bed at a hotel room first! Then she fucked me against my office door!"

Tina was completely frozen. They had never spoken about this and it was tearing her up inside to be hearing it right now.

"And you know what Tina!? She was also fucking amazing!!"

Before Tina even knew what she was doing, her right hand crashed into Bette’s left cheek in a painful smack.

    1. well tina shouldn’t dish it out if she can’t take it should she and there’s no excuse for violence! not liking tina at the minute but im finding this story very good and very interesting, pps!

    2. OMG WTF?! First off, Tina started it, so why would she hit Bette. And for two, I woulda figured Bette woulda been the one to hit Tina. Hmm. I cannot wait to see what you have up your sleeve. Good one!

    3. aww you did NOT just leave it there! yeah… I think this fight was a long time coming. When they’re done trading blows (of all kinds), I wonder what they’ll do then? thanks for posting! :)

    4. Thank you for the update. It was painful to read but you’re describing their emotions of anger and pain so well that it’s worth reading this story! ;) PPS

    5. Dang, that was harsh but, maybe it was needed, although I can’t imagine why at this point. Does your username XTiBetteX mean that you are not a fan of TiBette? Thanks for posting.

    6. Been a silent reader til now but my gut is churning from this battle. Even though it’s tempting to reveal (and hear about) the details of betrayal it can do no good for anyone. Too, too painful. Hope your next post has them realize how painful and unproductive these words are.

    7. Wow – another great chapter. I hate that this has escalated to physical violence between them but you’ve captured the raw emotions, the pain and the internal turmoil that both these women are suffering and have kept bottled up. They got back together prematurely both times (s2 and s5/6) without ever processing the life altering events that led to the breakups. Additionally both affairs were symptoms of deeper problems within their relationship not the result of. Now they are just throwing daggers to inflict more pain and that is unproductive but maybe necessary to get it out of their systems. I agree with mariam’s comment above. I hope Bette can be the bigger person in this situation and not resort to more physical violence (ie slapping Tina back)- for one thing I think Tina is vengeful enough to bring abuse charges against Bette if she were to hit her since we know Tina can always get away with things that Bette would be crucified for – but I think at this point they need to walk away and cool off and come back together when they can be civil to each other if for no other reason than that they have a mutual responsibility to the innocent child (Angie) that unfortunately was born into a bad situation from the start. Even if they fail in their marriage they owe it to Angie to be good parents. PPVS – don’t keep us waiting too long for the next installment.

    8. Ouch. The words sure cut deeper than the slap. Tina seems to be taunting Bette on purpose just to make Bette care. I like the way you write pain. Any way to fix this?

    9. maybe tina should really just leave at this point. Tina is wrong too but it is always so painful to hear about Candance. Good that they have this fight though otherwise the Candance issue will always be an elephant in the room right?
