    Daughters of Kirk and Spock

She spent a lot of time establishing herself outside of her parents’ long shadows that to accept a post on a vessel that was commanded by the legendary Captain now Admiral Kirk and her father then Commander Spock now Captain made her pause.  Add to that the Captain of the new Starship Enterprise was none other than Elizabeth K. Porter.

If anyone knew what she suffered growing up with a famous father in Starfleet it was Elizabeth.  Elizabeth took her maternal grandfather’s name Porter rather than Kirk to establish herself.  Christina was not sure that it made any difference; everyone knew that Elizabeth was the daughter of James T. Kirk.

The Kirk – Spock friendship and command team was one that was touted in the Academy as the ideal and standard that every crew now sought to achieve.

Still this new Enterprise, which would be the first all female command and crew was too enticing to turn down.  When she told her mother of her concerns her mother surprised her.

“It is your destiny warrior daughter.”

She flinched at the warrior daughter description.  She like her father had embraced the non-violent ways of Vulcan.  Still her blood burned with the heat of Romulus and her passions rode high.

Her mother always attuned to her child chided her gently.  “Your father is a great man because while he presents as Vulcan he honors all that he is even human.  You my warrior daughter can do no less and honor all that you are as well.  You walk the path of Surak still you must honor Romulus and Earth as well.  Respect and honor of the principles of Infinite Diversity in Infinite Combinations that is the way of Surak as well.

“You are right Mother.” Christina nodded so much in the manner of her father that Tu Rhaina smiled.

“And make sure that you keep that spawn of Kirk in check.  I understand that she is just as headstrong and impetus as her sire.”

“Spawn of Kirk, wife?”  Spock entered the spacious living area unnoticed by the duo.  His eyebrow rose as he extended two fingers in intimate greeting touching them to the fingers Rhaina extended to him.

    1. OMG! A Star Trek Tibette! I’ve never watched that show so I’ll be confused a lot I’m afraid. Is that true that Vulcan’s dies when not “mating” for 7 years? Oh boy, I’m gonna check Wikipedia and read a bit about Star Trek cause I wanna follow this story…

    2. I am going to love this story. Star Trek and Tibette, how can you go wrong. Can’t wait for the beginnings of the cohabitation period between the spawns of Spock and Kirk.
