Spock would never be comfortable discussing sex with his daughter and the fact that Elizabeth was her wife bothered him though not as much as if she were wed to a male. He was surprised at how much being her sire meant to him. He cherished his place in her life. He was still the number one male in her life and that illogically was a place he held with a measure of satisfaction.
“It seems we need to talk daughters” Spock said. “We need to know what you desire so that we can fully support you.”
“What needs to be said has been said Sire” Christina replied.
Spock’s brow rose as did Rhaina’s. “Daughter you have three worlds who claim you as their daughter you must choose.” Rhaina implored her.
“I am Christina of Vulcan and will remain as such for the remainder of my days.”
“Daughter” Spock cut in to everyone’s surprise. “You have an opportunity to guide and shape the development of two worlds will you not accept your duty?”
“My duty is to my wife and to Starfleet” Christina looked at him curiously. “I swore no oath to any other.”
“Indeed you have not.” Spock nodded finding no fault with her logic. Still it meant a lot to Rhaina to pass her crown to their daughter and it meant a lot to T’Pau to see the Hephaestus returned to Vulcan. It seemed that neither his wife nor his grandmere would have their desires met.
“Is there no way Warrior Daughter that you can find your way to accept the Crown of Rhemus?” Rhaina asked softly. The gentleness of the request alerted Christina to the fact that it meant something to her mother who had never requested anything of her before.
“Speak to me” Christina replied.
“I am born and grew up with the full intention of honoring the obligations of the gift of my birth. It is common for those so born to serve in the military before ascending to the Crown least we forget who we serve and protect and at what cost. Had I not met and wed your Sire I would have ascended to the throne decades ago. I never disclosed this to you as I never thought that I would return to claim this place.”

My brother saw the new Star Trek movie. After he told me about it, I also wished that your version be incorporated into future movies. It could happen!
You know what Kelika…the original Star Trek went off the air because they thought no one was watching it…it turns out they were wrong…that show spawned conventions all over the world with thousands upon thousands of participants. You too have a following on this site for your story. We just discovered it early and we wait with anticipation for the next chapter. Genius is often not recognized right away…can’t wait for the next chapter!

It was amusing how Christina’s total logic based interaction with her mother was embarassing the hell out of Elizabeth, particularly as logic overruled her usual private nature…especially because the revelations were about their sex life. My dear sweet Kelika, you have continually amazed me with this story and we would never suspect that you had difficulties with the storyline. It was awesome as always. You write Tina with such love, commitment, conviction and above all, honor and it is such a pleasure to read your work. The great thing about that I just said is that you can’t write it if you don’t feel it and have those same traits within yourself. Not buttering you up it’s just a fact. We do so appreciate your commitment to this story and I for one will never want it to end, it is such a joy to read. As I said before you should be producing your own movie version of Star Trek with “our girls” as the stars. We will just have to look into that project, maybe we can get Speilberg to produce it. Hope you had a wonderful time with the wife and family in sunny Florida. Keep writing my dear and we will certainly keep reading. Post when you can.

Ack, how embarrassing! You never want the in-laws to know that you’re sleeping with their dearest child, let alone know that you get completely lost in the passion. Christina doesn’t really seem to be budging. She’s not breaking her commitment to Starfleet, and she’s certainly not willing to take the crown of a people that dissed her wife. The Romulans are going to have to beg forgiveness, and prove themselves worthy of her. Hera and the Hephaestus will have to wait the 5 years out, maybe they’ll get a chance. Great post, kelika. thx so much for this latest update. i just love it. yes, i will see the new ‘startrek’ sometime. it has nz connection either one of lead actors or it was filmed in nz. i only half heard. but your story is the tops.
