Daughters of Kirk and Spock Post 22

Tu Puedes was troubled by the unease she felt.  Vulcans were not uneasy.  Her mind kept drifting to Tu Christina and that made no sense.  It was true that they successfully passed their first pon’ Farr together and it was physically satisfying but they did not bond.

There was of course a naturally affinity that they would have for one another which would lessen over time when they were bonded to others.  It was an issue that they need not address for another six years.  What could the source of these thoughts and needs be?

She was on shore leave on their homeworld and while she did not know Tu Christina’s family she had the right to pay her respect to them as the Primer.

She approached the sun drenched estate of Ambassador of Vulcan and his son Spock.  The door was flung open by a beautiful older woman who she immediately understood must be the Lady Rhaina.  No Vulcan would show such emotion and the woman was clearly distraught.

Tu Puedes nodded her head in deference to the Lady.

“I am Tu Puedes, Primer of Christina.  I wished to pay my respects while on leave and inquire about your daughter.”

The Lady Rhaina’s eyes narrowed.  She wondered if Tu Puedes could save her child.  While Primer’s did not bond with one another they could buy needed time in such circumstances.

“Please come in and take your midday refreshment with us.”  Rhaina said cordially.

“I did not mean to intrude.”  Puedes said again nodding in deference.  The sudden warmth reminded her of Christina and made her want to stay.

“Please come in.” Rhaina stepped back and invited Tu Puedes into their home.

Spock was surprised at the unknown guest.

“Husband, this is Tu Puedes, Primer of our daughter.”

“Captian.”  Tu Puedes bowed even deeper.  This was the legendary Captain Spock the respected Science Officer and trailbazer of Vulcans serving on any ship within Starfleet. “Sir.”

“I welcome you to our home, Primer of our daughter.”

The meal was good more varied than in a traditional Vulcan home which Tu Puedes attributed to the Romulan influence of Lady Rhaina.

    1. OMG how excited was I to see another update. This whole story is becoming more and more intriguing with each update. Kelika, I will be waiting tomorrow for the next one believe me. You are totally awesome girl!

    2. Thanks so much for keeping the story updated, Kelika. We really appreciate you. Hopefully one of these schemes can stop our girl Tina from doing whatever it is she is trying to do. She can not be left to her own devices at this time, no matter how much she may want to do this thing. Of course, the best and most appropriate savior of Tina would be her favorite girl, and ours, Captain Porter. They really do need each other to live and Bette must tell Tina how much she loves, wants and needs her, and that this is not just obligation or honor but true love. Tina’s human side will recognize and understand this as she undoubtedly does now but her Vulcan practicality will not let her believe it. Save her Kelika. Thanks again for posting. Post when you can.

    4. I feel like I need some sort of an English/ Trekkie translator to help me fully appreciate your wonderful story. I read and reread, but still end up shaking my head. That being said, your writing is so descriptive and beautiful that it doesn’t matter… the love story comes through very clearly. Thanks for sharing your talent, kelika!

    5. First it was sad to hear about the loss of Majel Barrett Roddenberry. I just loved her such a delight to always watch her on all the Star Trek series. Now as for Christina sure hope she finds it that she can’t go thru with what she is wanting or thinks what she wants and that Bette orbits there in a nano second…..great chapter K!!
