    Running away

    Alice: what are you going to do?

    Shane watched the girl walk to her car in the parking lot. She seemed to be looking around for someone and Shane hoped in her heart it was her, but that was foolish thinking. She felt this enormous pull towards this girl and she didn’t know why. At first seeing her she wanted to kill her, to drink her of all of her blood, and that desire was still present but Shane wanted to get to know her more.

    Jenny: You are seriously not lusting after a meaningless human are you?

    Shane snarled at Jenny baring her fangs.

    Jenny: I rather hoped you would have killed her instead.

    Shame filled her immediately when she thought of the fact that she had almost killed the beautiful creature.

    Jenny: It’s in our nature to feed off of blood Shane. There is no shame in wanting to kill her even though it might upset the parentals. They will get over it. If you want I will even help you.

    Shane tried to ignore Jenny but she was inside of her head.

    Alice: Jenny knock it off now. We vowed to not do that and we won’t. You just love to start trouble.

    Jenny clutched her chest in mock horror.

    Jenny: I am not. You can read Shane’s thoughts too. You know that is what she wants.

    Alice: actually she is intrigued by her, the pull to kill her isn’t that strong anymore.

    Shane tried to block them out.

    Shane: Stop talking about me like I am not here, and get out of my thoughts.

    Jenny: The close your mind off to us.

    Tim and Tasha remained silent neither wanting to get into the drama that was about to unfold. But Jenny wanted to keep baiting Shane, school had been rather boring and she could use some excitement.

    Shane: Jenny if you don’t stop I will rip you limb from limb.

    Tim: Shane I like her when she is put together.

    Alice: You’re just about the only one.

    Tasha hit Alice which sounded like rock colliding with rock.

    Tasha: Behave.

    Alice pouted and Jenny rolled her eyes. Knowing that Shane would make good on her threat.
